Objectives:CrossFit training,as a comprehensive training rapidly popular in recent years, has a significant impact on the physical fitness and performance of athletes in a variety of sports. This study analyzed the changes of the explosive power indicators related to the upper limbs, lower limbs and whole body of short-distance swimmers after CrossFit training intervention, and explored the influence of CrossFit training intervention on the explosive power of short-distance swimmers,so as to provide some theoretical support for the application of CrossFit training in swimming events. Methods:In this study, literature review method, expert interview method, experimental method and mathematical statistics method were used. The participants of CrossFit intervention training were 26 master’s students of swimming in Wuhan University of Sport. The subjects were all short-distance swimmers and swimmers of grade II or above.Twenty-six participants were divided into two groups:control group(n=11)and CrossFit intervention group(n=15).Respectively on two groups of subjects for regular traditional athletes training and CrossFit training intervention,in eight weeks, before and after intervention training measured reflect athletes lower limbs explosive(standing long jump),upper limbs explosive(push posture chest medicine balls),systemic explosive(high turnover weight,Push weight by force)and special sports performance ability(main 50 m swimming strokes,15 m high speed)indicators,The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 22.0.Results:Through the 6-week crossfit experimental intervention, this study found that the upper limbs, lower limbs and whole body explosive force indexes of the tested athletes before and after the intervention:(1)Compared with conventional traditional training, crossfit training intervention can significantly improve the performance of athletes in the standing long jump test index of lower limb explosive power, which shows that crossfit training intervention can significantly improve the lower limb explosive power of short-distance swimmers.(2)Compared with conventional traditional training, crossfit training intervention can significantly improve the performance of the tested athletes in the test index of upper limb explosive power sitting chest push solid ball, indicating that crossfit training intervention can significantly improve the upper limb explosive power of short-distance swimmers.(3)Compared with conventional traditional training, crossfit training intervention can significantly improve the performance of athletes in the test indicators of whole body limb explosive somersault and push. However,it has no significant impact on the performance of 50m and 15m starting speed of the main swimming stroke of the tested athletes. This may be because the two test indicators of 50m short-distance swimming and 15m starting speed belong to the shortest time items in the swimming events, and they are more dependent on the physical quality of swimmers such as their own explosive power and absolute strength,so it is not easy to obtain a significant increase in performance. Therefore, the results show that crossfit training intervention can significantly improve the whole body limb explosiveness of short-distance swimmers. Conclusion:The crossfit training intervention program with time priority and task priority can significantly improve the explosive power of upper and lower limbs of short-distance swimmers, and also significantly improve the explosive power of athletes’ whole-body absolute strength to a certain extent.However,short-term training intervention has no significant change in the improvement of special sports performance ability of short-distance swimming.
