| In the teaching content of high school mathematics, probability and statistics is one of the important content. The "China Education Modernization 2035" issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council pointed out that information technology should be integrated with teaching to provide more possibilities for teaching, enrich teaching models, and cultivate intelligent and personalized talents on a large scale.GeoGebra is a simple open source and powerful mathematics teaching software. This paper is devoted to researching the practical application of this software in auxiliary probability and statistics teaching, and exerting the teaching advantages of the deep integration of information technology and mathematics courses. This paper is guided by Freidenthal’s mathematics education thought,Garry Pelin’s theory of formation of mental skills by stages, and constructivism, combined with GeoGebra research to design a number of teaching cases of probability and statistics.Firstly,we set up the experimental class and the control class through the experimental research method. The experimental class uses GeoGebra to assist probability teaching, and the control class uses the traditional teaching mode to explore which mode is more suitable for students.Secondly,we provide data support for the survey by distributing questionnaires and comparative tests. The questionnaire survey sets three dimensions: students’ attitudes towards the study of probability and statistics, students’ attitudes towards GeoGebra-assisted probability and statistics teaching, and the effect of GeoGebra-assisted probability and statistics teaching on students’ learning. The test paper is related to the teaching content of probability and statistics. Finally, through the analysis of the questionnaire results and data results,it is concluded that the use of GeoGebra software to assist probability teaching can enhance students’ interest in learning, improve their learning enthusiasm, help students break through learning difficulties, and effectively improve students’ academic performance. |
