In the modern society with the rapid growth of information,the collection,analysis and application of big data is particularly important,and the research on statistics and probability has become a hot topic for teachers in primary and secondary schools and colleges.As the high school mathematics curriculum reform continued to deepen,statistics and probability related content gradually be taken seriously,"the ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards(2017 edition)" in six core literacy mathematical disciplines,including literacy "data analysis",this shows that statistics and probability contents occupies the important status in the high school mathematics knowledge framework.Before the subject core literacy was put forward,quality-oriented education has always been a hot topic in the reform of primary and secondary schools.In teaching,teachers teach more for the college entrance examination,and students do not have a deep understanding of statistics and probability,and lack of understanding of the nature of knowledge.At present,there are not many cases of combining statistics and probability content with mathematical history in high school.Since the establishment of HPM theory,the research on HPM has never been interrupted.Professor Zhang Dianzhou was the first to introduce HPM into domestic research.However,in the existing teaching design,there are few cases that can integrate HPM related theories into the teaching of high school mathematics and statistical probability.This paper first discusses the research status of HPM theory at home and abroad and the teaching status of statistics and probability in senior high schools,discusses the theoretical basis for integrating HPM theory into statistics and probability teaching in senior high schools,and understands the understanding of senior high school teachers and students on mathematical history or mathematical culture through questionnaires and interviews,as well as the ideas or suggestions for integrating mathematical history into statistics and probability teaching in senior high schools.On this basis,two teaching designs were prepared,and then two parallel classes of the corresponding grade were selected as the experimental class and the control class.The two teaching methods of HPM theory and traditional teaching were adopted respectively.After the course was completed,the advantages of HPM theory teaching were explained through interviews and tests.Finally,the actual teaching was combined,This paper analyzes the deficiencies of the research on the teaching practice of statistics and probability in senior high school based on the HPM perspective and puts forward the prospect for the next step.The practice results show that mathematics teaching based on HPM perspective can effectively stimulate students’ curiosity and improve their interest in learning mathematics.The teaching design based on HPM,on the one hand,enriches students’ mathematical cultural reserves,on the other hand,helps students better understand and use what they have learned and improve their awareness of mathematical application;For teachers,it is not only a challenge,but also an opportunity to improve themselves and promote their professional development.On this basis,we can also fully tap the ideological and political culture behind the knowledge points of statistical probability,intersperse ideological and political education in daily teaching,and reflect the fundamental task of "establishing morality and cultivating people".At the same time,from the perspective of the investigation of the new college entrance examination and the proposition trend,it is a new trend in recent years to infiltrate China’s traditional mathematical culture with the help of specific number learning problems.Therefore,in daily teaching,through the infiltration of mathematical culture,students can better understand the problems and improve their ability to read,examine and solve problems.
