In recent years,our government has issued a series of educational policies to support the development of secondary vocational education,and invested a lot of manpower,material resources and financial resources in the development of secondary vocational education.As a part of secondary vocational education,vocational planning education has also attracted the attention.Secondary vocational education could provide high technical and skilled personnel support for development of economic and social,industrial transformation and upgrading.However,there are some factors restricting the development of secondary vocational education,especially weakness for students’ employment guidance and career planning guidance.Therefore,based on the analyzing of the characteristics of professional values,psychological capital and career planning ability,the relationship of professional values,psychological capital and career planning ability are explored in this study,and the key issue that how the perspective of professional values and psychological capital effect on the career planning ability of secondary vocational students is focused on.Vocational value questionnaire,psychological capital questionnaire,career planning ability questionnaire are employed as the research tool.755 secondary vocational students from a secondary vocational school in Xi’an are taken as the research objects.SPSS25.0 software and AMOS24.0 modeling are taken for data analyse.The main results are as follows:(1)The overall level of vocational values of secondary vocational students is higher than the theoretical median,and the significant difference is manifested in gender and grade,major,independent,and academic performance.(2)The overall level of psychological capital of secondary vocational students is good,and the different dimensions and total score of their psychological capital are significantly different in the demographic variables of grade and gender.(3)The overall level of career planning is higher than the theoretical median,and the significant differences are in grade,major and academic performance.(4)The professional values can positively predict the career planning ability,and the professional values can positively predict the psychological capital,and psychological capital can positively predict career planning ability.Career values play a complete intermediary role in the influence of psychological capital on career planning ability.In summary,the conclusions obtained are as following:The overall level of secondary vocational students professional values,psychological capital,career planning ability are relatively general.Vocational values indirectly affect the career planning ability through psychological capital.The vocational planning ability of secondary vocational students can be enhanced by establishing the correct vocational values and improving the level of psychological capital.Based on the conclusion,the following suggestions are put forward: correct professional values should be established for students through career planning guidance;and students should be encouraged to participate actively in job fairs,social practice and other activities,so as to improve their career planning ability.
