Research On The Influence Of Psychological Capital On The Career Planning Capability For The Students Whose Major Is Tourism Management

The improvement of career planning ability has a greatsignificance to the improvement of students' career planning,coreliteracy training and employability.Career planning ability can reflectindividual comprehensive quality and ability.There are many studieson the current theory of career planning,but there are few studies oncareer planning ability.At the same time,the academic circle beginsto pay attention to the promotion of individual positive behavior inthe cultivation of individual ability.In addition,the current employment market of tourism industryneed high-quality tourism talents,college students of tourismmanagement major in the career planning still have some problems.Based on this,this paper takes the college students of tourismmanagement major as the research object,beginning with theperspective of psychological capital,to explore the impact on careerplanning ability.In this paper,6 colleges and universities in Changsha are takenas the sampling point,randomly 500 students of tourismmanagement major are selected as the object of study.Through themethods of questionnaire survey,their demographic variables,mental capital and status data of career planning ability are collected.Through the analysis of the data,the following conclusions areobtained:(1)There are significant differences in demographic variablesfor certain dimensions of mental capital and career planning skills;(2)Psychological capital has a significant impact on career planningability;(3)The sub-dimension of mental capital has a significantimpact on career planning ability.Finally,according to the research conclusion,it is suggested todevelop the psychological capital based on the demographic variablesto improve the career planning ability of students of tourismmanagement major.
