| Vocational guidance in schools contributes to social development and socialization of individuals,and vocational guidance for secondary deaf students is an important part of vocational education work in deaf schools.The purpose of career guidance in deaf schools is not only to give deaf students a comprehensive understanding of career basics and an accurate understanding of career characteristics,but more importantly,to enable deaf students to form a clear understanding of their own traits,career needs and other aspects,to enable deaf students and to master professional knowledge and professional skills according to their actual situation while enhancing their adaptability to career positions in order to To achieve long-term stable development of future careers.In the initial preparatory work,this study focuses on the significance of the research on vocational guidance in deaf schools,the specific research contents and the research methods used,and also defines the concept of vocational guidance in deaf schools based on the summary and generalization of previous experiences and the current characteristics of deaf education.The study is based on the important developmental theories about vocational guidance at home and abroad,the current situation of vocational guidance in deaf schools in China,and the discussion of the characteristics,contents,and implementation procedures of vocational guidance in deaf schools from a practical point of view.In the actual research,this study investigates and analyzes the issues related to career guidance at the secondary vocational education level in deaf schools by using Shenyang H School for the Deaf as the research object.By distributing questionnaires to students and interviewing teachers in this school,the current knowledge of deaf students about careers,their understanding of their own career intentions,and their evaluation of the school’s career guidance work were analyzed,and the current status of the implementation of career guidance for deaf students in this school was summarized by combining the teachers’ elaboration and evaluation of career guidance in deaf schools.The results of the analysis of the available data indicated that although the current vocational guidance work in Shenyang H School for the Deaf has formed a collaborative working mechanism,the content of guidance has been increasingly enriched,vocational guidance and subject teaching have cooperated with each other,and good cooperation has been formed between home,school,and society,the implementation of vocational guidance work in Shenyang H School for the Deaf still suffers from the lack of hierarchy in the implementation of vocational guidance,individualized However,the implementation of career guidance in Shenyang H School for the Deaf still has problems such as lack of hierarchy,individualized guidance,matching with vocational needs,and information.This study further investigates the problems of career guidance in deaf schools from three perspectives:deaf schools,deaf students,and external factors,and lays the foundation for suggesting effective suggestions to improve the effectiveness of career guidance in deaf schools.Finally,based on the analysis and summary of the previous research results,the study proposes countermeasures to further improve career guidance in deaf schools from various aspects,such as establishing new concepts,promoting models,strengthening the teacher team,developing school-based teaching materials,and promoting multi-party cooperation,in order to ensure the quality and efficiency of career guidance in deaf schools. |
