| Physics is an experiment-based subject, and as technology and the economy continue to develop, the education sector has proposed many improvements to address the shortcomings in traditional physics laboratory teaching, one of which is the use of digital technology. This is not only required in the curriculum standards, but is also fully reflected in the development of teaching materials and trends in the college entrance examination.A survey of the literature reveals that the mainstream of research on digital experiments is still on how related technologies are applied in education, and that there is relatively little research in science education on the impact of digital experiments on students’ learning abilities(e.g.the construction of concepts and laws)and experimental abilities(e.g.image processing, data processing,etc.).In my thesis,I have chosen to investigate the effects of digital experiments on students’ learning abilities by using experimental and educational measurement methods, and to investigate the effects of digital experiments on students’ learning abilities and experimental abilities by using interview methods,in order to draw relevant conclusions.Digital experiments help to improve students’ learning ability but have a negative impact on their experimental ability,so it is important to take this into account when using digital technology.Improvements to the digital equipment are needed to add more exploration processes and thus improve students’ experimental skills. In response to the problems identified in the investigation, the principles of digital technology applied to secondary school physics experimental teaching are proposed, and five classical traditional physics experiments at the secondary school level are selected to study their shortcomings in experimental teaching, and digital technology is used to improve and innovate these experiments and to achieve a breakthrough in existing digital experiments. This thesis is divided into five parts. In the first part, the background, purpose, value and significance of the research on the application of digital technology in secondary school physics experimental teaching are studied. The concepts and characteristics of digital technology are elaborated to pave the way for the subsequent investigation. In the second part, the current status of domestic and international research on the application of digital technology to experimental teaching is elaborated,so as to identify problems and determine the direction of one’s own research on the application of digital technology to experimental teaching in secondary school physics. In the third part, the investigation will be carried out in response to the direction of one’s research and relevant conclusions will be drawn. In the fourth part, based on the problems found in one’s investigation, one puts forward the principles of digital technology applied in secondary school physics experimental teaching. In the fifth part, the author analyses the development process of five classical traditional physics experiments in experimental teaching, based on which digital technology is used to improve and innovate them and to make a breakthrough in existing digital experiments. |
