China attaches great importance to children’s active learning.In the Guidelines for Kindergarten Education,it is mentioned that "children should learn vividly,livelily and actively through real and meaningful activities." The Learning and Development Guide for Children aged 3-6also points to helping young children develop positive learning qualities.At the same time,in foreign countries,active learning also attracted attention;Piaget believed that "children’s learning is active,education must be committed to developing children’s initiative";The high and wide curriculum aims at making children active learners.This shows that active learning is of great significance for young children.In recent years,the children’s discovery museum has attracted a lot of attention in China.It focuses on encouraging children to actively participate in exploration and personally operate and observe in the way of experience and interaction.This just provides a "prepared environment" for young children’s active learning.Therefore,this study selected one primary class,one middle class and one major class in S Garden attached to Laoniu Children’s Exploration Museum in H City to observe and record a total of 90 children in order to understand their active learning behavior in the three exhibition areas of Happy Family,Vibrant City and Wonderful China.Including active learning refers to the children in the process of interaction with the surrounding environment,by adults encourage,support and challenge to its thinking,willing to explore new and familiar task or challenge,through active participation,active discovery,active exploration,active exchanges and cooperation in the learning process.In the study of children’s active learning positive performance is as follows:1.In terms of active participation,I can adapt to various activities and choose different ways of expression2.Active discovery: Good at observing things around and asking lots of questions3.Active exploration: Able to accept challenging tasks,solve problems in different ways,and adhere to the completion of goals4.In terms of active communication: Actively communicate with others and be willing to express their ideas5.In terms of active cooperation,conflict resolution approaches are different,and the division of labor is more specific.However,some children’s active learning also has inadequate performance,such as low enthusiasm in active participation,insufficient level of questioning in active discovery,inadequate use of materials in active exploration,less interaction with peers in active communication,conflicts arising from active cooperation cannot be actively resolved.Next,the author of venues to support children’s active learning analyzes the favorable conditions,it is concluded that: the real situation can help children adapt into the theme,by combining with the tip of the children’s observation,unique environment can stimulate children’s interest in exploring,material abundant beneficial to children’s exchanges,variety will promote the cooperation.The reasons for the inadequate performance are as follows: there are individual differences in children,the lack of systematic training in the management of gymnasiums,and the teaching and research activities to explore the educational value of gymnasiums are in the initial stage;Teachers do not establish enough sense of security for children,the way of asking questions is mechanical,the training of early experience of children is limited,the focus is on ensuring the safety of children,effective support needs to be improved;Parents have a low degree of cooperation.Finally,from the perspective of Laoniu Children’s Exploration Museum,the author puts forward some suggestions to promote the educational value of the museum with the community,popularize relevant educational knowledge by using network technology,and strengthen the professional training of volunteer service.S kindergarten should optimize the curriculum integrated with the library,learn from the environment in the library,and organize teaching and research activities.Teachers should pay attention to children’s performance,improve the way of asking questions,strengthen the sharing of activities,and respect children’s behavior.Parents should seek home cooperation to promote active learning of children.
