The concept of children is the fundamental problem of education, and different concepts of children determine the essential differences of educational concept, educational content and educational method. Compared with the traditional concept of children that children were regarded as subsidiaries and were neglected, the concept of modern children establishes the "supreme" status of children. However, the promotion of status does not mean that the world of children is totally beautiful, and the concept of modern children also faces many difficulties. Based on psychology, the children are placed in the education of age characterized, which makes children become the "poor" of age characteristics construction. And from pre-modern society to present, the role of children have changed from the important buffer force in the family economy to be useless in economy and invaluable in emotion, children have been completely expelled from the labor and work, which brings serious lack of perceived worthiness of children. Adult's understanding that children need their own special toys, leading to the operation of toys which designed for children even need to be guided, the game nature of children's toys is seriously weakening and missing. In addition, the "Curriculum" and "the institutionalization of childhood" of children's leisure time causes that children's self life time and space are mercilessly deprived. All this variety of defects, it is necessary to reflect on the view of modern children. Picture book, as an oriented children's literature form, it presents and reveals the richness of children and childhood appearance, and provides a unique perspective to study the concept of children.This study selects picture-books,which take the children as protagonist and deeply show the inner world of children, combines with the text analysis method to reflect the modern concept of chiliren by revealing the appearance of children and childhood in these picture-books.The study is divided into three parts.The first part is the definition of picture books, children's inner world, children's discovery and the concept of modern children's conceptand, discussing the relationship between picture books and modern children's views.The second part analysises the inner world of children in picture-books,showing the differences, rebellion and the "gray zone" and "self salvation" of children's inner world.The third part is the key part of the study,this part reflects on the three basic assumptions of the modern concept of children——the natural and universal, the objects of socialization and the pure children.The differences of children's inner world and the struggle and resistance on the unfortunate position,which revealed in the picture-books,requires us to re-examine the hypothesis of natural universal children and pays attention to the difference and the society of children.Children's reconstruction of the cultural symbol and challenges of the real adult culture, let us have to reflect on the hypotheses that children are the the objects of socialization,Highlight the children in the main body status in the process of socialization and give full play to the initiative of the children.The "gray" of children's inner world in these picture-books requires us to understand the hypothesis of innocent children and pay attention to the complexity of the children.
