| As a new learning method,MOOC breaks the limitations of time and space,formal learning and informal learning,and it has become an important issue in the development of online education domestic and foreign.However,poor course completion of MOOC learners has been difficult to solve in the development of MOOC for many years.If MOOC wants to achieve sustainable development,this issue must solved.A better completion will increase the persuasiveness and attractiveness of this learning method.So,it is necessary to carry out an in-depth study of MOOC completion.This research focuses on the MOOC platform through preliminary investigations,and explores the impact mechanism of MOOC completion.Based on the IS Model and the Theory of Incentive Reinforcement,construct the research model,use self-compiled "MOOC Platform Quality and Learning Questionnaire"(including "MOOC Platform Quality Scale","Learner Satisfaction Scale","Learner Use Intention Scale","MOOC Completion Scale"),do the survey on self-directed learners.1006 valid questionnaires were collected,and the data was statistically analyzed by SPSS23.0 and AMOS24.0.Using Means Comparison,T Test,One-Way ANOVA,Correlation Analysis,Regression Analysis,Boostrap Intermediary Test to explore the influence mechanism of MOOC platform quality on the MOOC completion,the status of each variable,and the difference influence in demographic variables.At the same time,combined with the author’s observation and use of "Rongyou School",combined with 140 data from this platform,conduct a case study.The specific findings are as follows:1.The level of the MOOC platform quality,learner satisfaction,learner use intention and MOOC completion are Acceptable.Learners like to study on domestic MOOC platform.2.MOOC platform quality,learner satisfaction,learner use intention and MOOC completion all show significant difference on whether is a college student and whether the course is paid.MOOC platform quality also has significant difference on age,length of each study.MOOC completion also has significant difference on the level of institutions and the number of platforms used.learner satisfaction also has significant difference on age.learner use intention also has significant difference on highest degree and college level.3.The overall of the MOOC platform quality has a significant positive impact on MOOC completion through learner satisfaction and learner use intention;platform system quality,platform service quality,platform incentive mechanism dimensions respectively has a significant positive impact on MOOC completion through learner satisfaction and learner use intention.4.Learner satisfaction and Learner use intention respectively plays both individual and chained mediating role in the relationship between the overall of the MOOC platform quality and MOOC completion;Learner satisfaction and Learner use intention respectively plays both individual and chained mediating role in the relationship between platform system quality,platform service quality,platform incentive mechanism dimensions and MOOC completion;and the mediating influences are all partial mediating.5.The platform incentive mechanism of "Rongyou School" is good,but the platform service quality is poor.This MOOC platform should concern more about self-directed learners.The MOOC completion of "Rongyou School" is worse than all samples.According to the analysis results,starting from the perspective of Guidance,Construction and Application.From the three levels of MOOC policy,MOOC platform,and Learners,puts forward strategic suggestions to promote the improvement of MOOC completion.MOOC policy aspect includes Encouraging high-quality MOOC platforms to open resources,improve the certification mechanism of MOOC learning achievements,guide the MOOC platform of universities to pay attention to serving independent learners.MOOC platform aspect includes improving platform system quality,guaranteeing platform service quality,optimizing platform incentive mechanism,choosing a scientific and diversified course completion assessment mechanism,and conduct regular surveys on learner satisfaction and Learner use intention.Learners aspect includes improving the level of own resource management strategies and increasing the sense of participation in each link of MOOC learning. |
