Research On The Role Of Social Work In Improving The Effectiveness Of Home Care Services In Urban Communities ——A Case Study Of The S Community

With the rapid development of China’s economy and changes in people’s lifestyles,compared with the limitations of traditional family pension and institutional pension,the advantages of community home-based pension have gradually been recognized and developed by society.The disciplinary nature of social work endows it with the unique ability to solve the aging problem,improve the happiness of the elderly,and provide professional services.Therefore,under this trend,social work is very important to intervene community home care services.This research uses the questionnaire investigation approach,the interview method and so on the research method,from S community present community aged care service which exists,obtains,Find the problems in community home care service,use the method of social group work intervention and evaluation,and finally for our country community home nursing service to improve the effectiveness of the corresponding countermeasures.This study is divided into the following five parts: First,the introduction.The main contents include the research background,theoretical basis,related literature were sorted out and explained,the core concept of this study was defined,the purpose of the study,significance and research methods were explained;Secondly,S community profile and community home endowment demand status.It mainly includes two parts,one is the basic situation of S community through field research,the other is to sort out the status of the needs of the elderly;Again is the community home endowment problems and the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention.First,through the analysis of the interview data,we found that there are problems in the community home elderly care services,such as the imperfect hardware facilities,the incomplete service content,the lack of self-awareness of elderly people,and the insufficient level of service to meet the needs.Then it explains the necessity and feasibility of social work involved in community home care: to cope with the aging of population,to make up for the lack of family care,the support of national policies,the sustainable development and professional mission of the social work;Again,the social work perspective of urban community home care services to enhance the process of analysis.The main content is divided into two aspects: First,the presentation of the practical process,including the design scheme,intervention process;Second,the evaluation of practical effect;Finally,the social work perspective of urban community home care services to enhance the effectiveness of strategies.Through the analysis of questionnaire results,interview content and intervention effect,the paper puts forward the strategies to enhance the effect of urban community home care service: First,to promote social work,to improve community home nursing service effect;Second,the introduction of professional personnel to enhance the professional level of community homebased care services;Third,set up the criterion of service to promote the development of community pension system.Fourth,link service resources,enrich the content of community home-based care services;Fifth,to promote the ability of the elderly,and guide the elderly to express and change their ideas.The above research integrates the concept,method and reality of social work,which is not only helpful to improve the effect of home-based elderly care services in specific urban communities,but also can bring some enlightenment to the development of social works in China.
