The notice of the Guiding Outline for Labor Education in Primary,Middle and Primary Schools(for Trial Implementation)issued in 2020 puts forward the requirement of "Independently Setting up Compulsory Courses for Labor Education",which puts "Labor Education into the Training Scheme of Professional Talents,Defines the Courses Mainly Relied on,and Can Set up Special Labor Education Modules in Existing Courses or Special Compulsory Courses for Labor Education".College labor education is not only an important part of the higher education system,but also the fundamental requirement of implementing the task of building morality and cultivating people in colleges and universities.As the core element of cultivating people in colleges and universities,labor education curriculum also shoulders the important task of educating and cultivating people.Strengthening the curriculum construction of labor education in colleges and universities is not only the need of the development and improvement of the higher education system,but also the practical requirement of talent training.Therefore,what is the current situation of the implementation of labor curriculum in colleges and universities under the background of the new era? How to build high-quality labor education courses? It is of positive significance to improve the labor curriculum system and improve the quality of talent training.Through interviews,questionnaires and other forms of field research on G university,based on the survey data,summarize and analyze the implementation of college labor education curriculum,and carry out research around the construction of college labor education curriculum in the new era.Starting from the relevant elements of college labor curriculum construction in the new era,this paper analyzes the connotation and characteristics of labor education in the new era,discusses the new characteristics,value implication and importance of labor education curriculum in the new era,and defines the four content requirements and three dimensions of construction of college labor curriculum in the new era.Through the investigation,it is found that although G university has achieved certain results in the construction of labor curriculum,there are also some problems in the goal,such as confusing the value and instrumentality of labor education,the design of labor content is too simple and repetitive,the lack of communication between various subjects in the process of implementation,the imperfect curriculum evaluation system and the lack of reward mechanism.Through the analysis,it is found that the main reasons for these problems include: material level,curriculum design,teacher team construction and student factors.In view of the above problems,the following improvement strategies are put forward: first,based on the development characteristics of the school,design labor courses according to local conditions,clarify the curriculum objectives of "Knowledge and Kills" and improve the curriculum system in various forms.Second,conform to the trend of the times,build curriculum content that is satisfied with students’ employment,create a bridge for the development of society and students,and improve students’ future competitiveness.The third is to promote as a whole and ensure the smooth implementation of labor courses in an all-round way,including paying attention to the combination of theory and practice in content,adopting diversified teaching modes,filling the team of labor teachers and unblocking communication channels,so as to improve students’ understanding of labor courses.Fourth,gradually improve and build a scientific and effective curriculum evaluation system,pay attention to the process,results and labor education evaluation,and ensure the scientificity and comprehensiveness of the evaluation.
