| Rural education is the basic driving force for rural revitalization. However, rural schools are the carriers of rural education. In the absence of school-running vitality,it is difficult to play the role of helping rural revitalization. The vitality of running a rural school is a positive and sustainable life vigor bred by the interaction between three-dimensional subjects such as rural principals, teachers and students, and in a specific educational environment.Including the principal’s leadership, teachers’ professionalism and students’ learning ability. The vitality of running a school always belongs to the driving force of the school’s endogenous development,so the theory of endogenous development can provide interpretation for the research on the vitality of rural schools.Based on the theory of endogenous development, through literature research, questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews,it is found that there are many difficulties in improving the vitality of rural schools. The specific manifestations are that the ability of rural principals to lead development is insufficient;the continuous growth of rural teachers is insufficient;the development of rural students’ learning ability is limited. The reason is that the principal’s own responsibilities are not properly positioned, which restricts the improvement of his leadership;secondly, the imperfect educational incentive system and the structure of teachers’ staff hinder the professional growth of teachers;thirdly, the learning status of rural students is not good and their learning ability is insufficient. Therefore,in order to improve the vitality of rural schools, the first is to enhance the leadership of the principals.Specifically,it is required to expand the authority of rural schools to run their own schools, improve the principal management system, and broaden the source of candidates for outstanding principals,so as to enhance the self-leadership and core competitiveness of rural principals. The second is to improve the professionalism of rural teachers, which specifically requires improving the incentive mechanism of rural schools, innovating teacher training methods, and enhancing teachers’ professional growth momentum. The third is to cultivate the learning ability of rural students, specific requirements are to update students’ learning methods, stimulate students’ cultural identity, build a reasonable and complete student evaluation system, and guide students’ learning and development. |
