Research objective: Using physiological and biochemical indexes combined with training load management,this paper studies the training situation of Chen Ding in the first winter training period after his return,and provides some enlightenment and reasonable suggestions for the return training of retired athletes in China in the future.Research methods: Literature review method,logical analysis method,training observation method and mathematical statistics were fully adopted to study the physiological and biochemical indicators of Chen Ding,the 20 km race walking champion of London Olympic Games,during his first winter training after retirement,and in combination with the formulation and implementation of training plans.Results: 1)In the early stage of winter training,the total training amount of Chen Ding was 478 km,and the training amount of Ⅰ-Ⅴ(from low to high)intensity accounted for 63.1%,23.8%,8.8%,4.2% and 0% of the total training amount,respectively;In the middle of winter training,The total training amount of Chen Ding was 982 km,among which the training amount of grade Ⅰ-Ⅴ intensity accounted for12.3%,36.0%,40.9%,9.4% and 1.0% respectively.In the late winter training,Chen ding’s total training amount was 789.5km,of which the training amount of gradeⅠ-Ⅴ intensity accounted for 10.4%,12.8%,52.1%,18.2% and 6.5% of the total training amount respectively.2)Through the study,the change curves of various physiological and biochemical indexes of Chen Ding in winter training period were obtained.Conclusion: 1)During the first winter training after retirement,Chen Ding adopted the training load mode of "low amount + low intensity--high amount + high intensity--high amount + high intensity";2)During the whole winter training period,the leukocytes and creatine kinase showed fluctuations in a certain range;Serum testosterone,erythrocyte,hematocrit and hemoglobin showed a certain consistency,which decreased first and then increased during the whole winter training period.Serum cortisol and blood urea nitrogen showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.
