With the deepening of education reform in our country,in order to meet the requirements of education to promote the all-round development of students,the reform of physical education evaluation in our country is being carried out constantly.Teaching evaluation is a kind of value judgment of teaching activities.As a basic aspect of teaching research and an important part of teaching reform,it has been paid more and more attention gradually.As a relatively new evaluation system,process evaluation has been recognized by more and more scholars.Compared with traditional evaluation,procedural evaluation has changed a lot in the function and method of evaluation.Procedural evaluation emphasizes the implementation of evaluation in learning and the promotion of learning in evaluation.The process evaluation emphasizes the importance of both the learning process and the learning objective,which is a comprehensive evaluation method aimed at promoting the all-round development of students.This paper expounds the meaning and theory of process evaluation.Scholars at home and abroad for reference,the experience in physical education teaching evaluation,the sports education in the common course for the professional tennis is given priority to with summative assessment in evaluation system exist deficiencies to improve and perfect,combined with related theory,the analysis process evaluation in physical education in the common course for the professional tennis in the feasibility,design a set of suitable for physical education evaluation system in the common course for the professional tennis,Develop a specific implementation process.This paper adopts the methods of literature,comparative experiment,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and questionnaire survey,and takes 60 male students majoring in physical education of Xi’an University of Arts and Sciences of Grade 2019 as experimental subjects to conduct an experimental study on the application of process evaluation in the general course of tennis of physical education of Xi ’an University of Arts and Sciences.The experimental group and the control group before and after the data were compared and analyzed,and the experimental results were compared and analyzed.The results are as follows:(1)After a semester of teaching experiment,the scores of the experimental group students’ tennis theory are higher than those of the control students(P < 0.05),which indicates that procedural evaluation can promote students’ mastery of the theoretical knowledge of tennis.(2)After the end of the experiment,the scores of the students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05),which indicated that the application of procedural evaluation in the general tennis course of physical education majors can significantly improve the students’ tennis skills.(3)after the experiment,two groups of students’ physical quality has improved,but have not shown a significant difference(P > 0.05),and this is because the development of the physical quality is affected by many factors,its obvious changes need longer cycle,so the evaluation process does not make the students’ physical quality in a short period of time to obtain obvious improvement.(4)After the end of the experiment,the interest of students in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group,indicating that procedural evaluation can improve students’ interest in tennis.(5)After the end of the experiment,students in the experimental group agreed with the evaluation results more than those in the control group.
