| The specialty of physical education in advanced normal college is mainly for cultivating the gym teachers in primary school. The quality of the teaching is related to the future physical education quality in primary sch ool and also the health of national teenagers. Table tennis is our national ball. The students of present physical education not only response for the future p hysical education in primary and middle school, but also take responsibilities of popularizing the national ball. Therefore, it is imperative to improve the qu ality of the table tennis general course in physical education specialty of our country.Teaching program is the main basis of teaching, it's also an important rule to check the study of students and teaching of teachers. To analyze and investigate the teaching program of table tennis general course in physical education specialty in Sichuan normal university has highly effects on the teaching of the courses. Through methods of literature, interview, questionnaire, statistics, logic analysis and so on, this paper analyzed and researched the teaching aim, teaching content, teaching periods, the choosing of text books and reference books, testing content with the percentage of it for the teaching program of the table tennis general course in physical education specialty in Sichuan normal university. Besides, according to the practical situation of the table tennis course in middle and primary school, it presents strategies and suggestions of further reform and development of the teaching program for cultivating more adapted physical teachers under the new situation.Main conclusion are as the following:(1)The training objectives of the teaching program of the table tennis general course in physical education specialty in Sichuan normal university can adapt the reform of teaching nowadays and the social development. It also meets the basic requirement of< course guideline>. However, the training objectives in several normal universities are not complete, they need to be improved.(2)The teaching aims of the general courses of Sichuan normal university is mainly located in qualifying the teaching of the table tennis course in primary and middle school. For few colleges, the location is higher, and it requires the ability of team leading and training which is not consistent with the actual situation.(3)Although it has more teaching contents, the key points are focused. No matter in the chosen of teaching content or the grip of key technical, it adapts the requirements of primary and middle school table tennis teaching.(4)The total hours of the table tennis general course in physical education specialty of Advanced Normal University mainly focuses on 30-40 classes and 60-70 classes, the allocation of hours in theory, technical and evaluation is reasonable.(5) For the selection of teaching materials, some schools choose self-made materials and some others choose the general materials of physical colleges, all in all, most normal colleges use comparatively old teaching materials.(6)For the evaluation, most of colleges evaluate their student by average grades, theory evaluation, technical evaluation and evaluation. The evaluations are very comprehensive and could meet the trends of nowadays education development.(7)The teaching program of the table tennis course basically adapt to the requirement of Sichuan normal university and also meet the demand of the social development and nowadays educational reformation. Most of the teachers strictly execute the teaching program and are satisfied with the completion of the teaching program. |
