Family cultural capital represented by physicalization,objectification and institutionalization,it reflects parents’ overall quality and family education ability.Especially for rural families,good family cultural capital not only has a positive impact on the growth of children,but also helps to narrow the gap in education level between urban and rural families.At present,there are a lot of studies on family cultural capital in academic circles,but most of them focus on the impact of family cultural capital on students’ academic performance,and there are few studies on the impact of family cultural capital on the growth of rural junior high school students.Therefore,it is the focus of this paper to find out the quality and stock of rural family cultural capital,and whether and to what extent it affects the growth of rural junior high school students.Is adopted in this paper,based on this theory to explore and research the method of double parallel,Zhangzhou in Fujian province three public junior high school,330 students as the research object,the investigation process with the method of questionnaire combined with interviews,and through SPSS26.0 software to analyze the corresponding data,strive for a comprehensive understanding of the rural family cultural capital and growth status in junior high school students,To find out the main problems existing in the two,and then to promote the rural family cultural capital and promote the growth of rural junior high school students put forward suggestions.Through analysis of this study,it is found that:1.The quality of family cultural capital significantly affects the growth level of students.The higher the quality of family cultural capital,the better the students’ physical,psychological,learning and moral quality.2.In terms of parents’ physical cultural capital,parents’ words and deeds,parents’ participation,and family objectification cultural capital,the amount of books collected and the update of books in the family have the greatest influence on the growth of students,while the mother’s educational level is most related to the moral quality of children.3.Most parents are more concerned about their children’s learning quality than their psychological quality.According to the research results,this paper puts forward the following suggestions to promote the improvement of rural family cultural capital: First,the government,society and school should cooperate to help the improvement of rural family cultural capital;Second,parents should play a subjective initiative,change their own quality to promote the growth of their children.
