For basketball players,the ankle joint is the most common damage area,and ankle injury is closely related to its stability.Studies have shown that functional training plays a positive role in improving the stability of the ankle joint.This study aims to explore the impact of barefoot function training on the ankle stability of adolescent men’s basketball players.Objective: To improve the stability of the ankle to find the best intervention,clarify different impacts of barefoot function training on the stability of youth basketball players.Methods: Subjects were randomly divided into two groups: training group wearing shoes(n=10)and training barefoot group(n=10)for 10 weeks of exercise.Before and after the experiment,the Biodex system 4multi-joint isokinetic test system was used to measure the difference in perception RPT,EPT/RPT,DCR and joint position of the ankle joint.YBT was used to test the ability to maintain balance in unilateral lower limbs.SPSS25.0 was used for statistical analysis of data before and after the experiment,and Graph Pad prism8.0.2 was used for drawing.Results:(1)After 10 weeks of exercise intervention,the RPT value of the bilateral ankle joints in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).The RPT in the control group was improved but there was no significant difference(P<0.05).(2)The ankle joint EPT/RPT muscle strength ratio in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),on the other hand,there was no significant difference in the control group before and after the intervention(P> 0.05).(3)The ankle DCR of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),while the control group had no significant change(P>0.05).(4)The test values of active ankle joint position perception and passive position perception in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),so that there was no significant change in the control group(P>0.05).(5)There was no significant difference between the two groups in the YBT test(P>0.05),but there was a significant difference between posterolateral extension and posterolateral extension(P<0.05).Conclusion: After 10 weeks of different forms of functional training,the training effect of barefoot is better than that of wearing shoes in terms of muscle strength,proprioception and balance control of ankle stability.Among them,the training effect of proprioception and balance control ability is more obvious.Therefore,in the physical training of young male basketball players,barefoot functional training can effectively improve the stability of their ankles.
