Basketball,a high-speed,high-intensity and high-confrontation sport,includes a variety of technical moves such as running,jumping and casting.The process is inseparable from the upper limbs,the lower limbs(leg,knee,ankle)and torso coordination.Running,jumping and casting,as the basis of basketball skills,are indispensable from the strength of ankle.Ankle strength,which plays a crucial role in instant activation and stopping,jumping to rebound or to cast,physical confrontation and other basketball moves,contributes to physical stability maintaining and substantial body moves with explosiveness.In the daily training and life of athletes and basketball major students,ankle weakness has become a common defect,resulting in a lack of technical skills and sports injuries.Ankle strength training was initially for anti-sports injury and rehabilitation,and later with the in-depth studies from all over the world,results indicate that the improvement of ankle strength can improve basketball performance and basketball skills.Aimed at techniques of basketball include running,jumping and casting,this paper tries to investigate the influence factors of ankle strength on the basis of experiments to discuss the influence of ankle strength improvement on basketball techniques.This paper aims to study the impact of ankle strength on basketball skills and to propose an effective method for ankle strength training.By observing,testing and recording ankle strength training in the experimental group,the experimental data were analyzed and researched,corresponding guidance followed.The experiment in this paper tests the indexes that affect the technical level of basketball before and after the experiment,then the data will be screened and analyzed to draw a conclusion.The research methods of this study include literature review,interview,experiment and mathematical analysis method.The experimental subjects are 26 female basketball players in Shandong Experimental Junior High School.Before the experiment,technical indicators of the basketball were tested.The test scores were analyzed and compared.The players were statistically grouped according to statistically significant test results(p> 0.05),and the ankle strength training was carried out for 10 weeks according to the plan.Traditional basketball basic technical training was set as a control group.After 10 weeks of training,the data were collected and analyzed with SPSS 22.0.The experimental results show that most scores of the experimental group are better than those in the control grouping regarding the several indexes that affect the technical level of the basketball.The test indexes of the control group were also improved,but not significantly as the experimental group did.After the experiment,the experimental group better improved than the control group.Conclusion: Ankle strength training has a significant effect on the improvement of basketball skills.Ankle strength training is an effective method for improving basketball skills,which contributes to basketball basic moves and techniques strengthening and magnifies the effect and the results of conventional training.
