Social Work Intervention Research In The Practice Of Epidemic Prevention And Control In N District,Foshan City

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,COVID-19 has been the fastest spread,the most widespread and the most difficult to prevent and control in China.It not only threatens human lives and health,but also has a huge impact on the economies of various countries and affects the normal operation of society.Under the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech and spirit on epidemic prevention and control,social work and volunteer service,the majority of social workers have actively participated in the COVID-19 prevention and control work,and gave full play to the important role of social work in public health emergencies.At present,China is in the normal stage of the epidemic situation,so the author hopes to have a deep understanding of the current situation and practical results of the epidemic prevention and control work of social workers in N area,and analyze the current difficulties and problems,so as to optimize the path of social work intervention in the epidemic prevention and control in urban communities.Through semi-structured interviews,participatory observation,questionnaire survey and other research methods,the author learned that social workers mainly play the roles of information transmitters,service providers,public epidemic prevention helpers and resource link workers in the current epidemic prevention and control work.By sorting out and summarizing the research findings and practical gains in this study,The author concluded that the current lack of initiative of social workers in understanding and transmitting residents’ information,Lack of professional social workers,lack of publicity of service content,To assist in epidemic prevention,residents have weak awareness of epidemic prevention,social workers publicize epidemic prevention is rigid,online services need to be developed,volunteers are scarce,In terms of resource link,social workers lack the awareness of active link resources,and the single form of link resources,In this regard,the author puts forward the following suggestions: In understanding and transmitting information on residents’ needs,social workers should make good use of information technology for real-time research on residents,To Assist the community to understand the spiritual needs of the residents and to carry out relevant activities,Directors should strengthen the training of social workers to enhance the social responsibility of social workers;In terms of psychological assistance,social workers should improve their professionalism,strengthen the publicity of service content,and help residents to establish a social support network;Social workers should take various forms to assist in epidemic prevention,Developing online services,To stimulate the internal vitality of the community residents,In terms of resource link,social workers should have the awareness of actively linking resources,Link resources through multiple forms,Enhance community resilience,Do dynamic project resource pository and feedback from donors.
