Cold rolled tubes are widely used in many fields of the national economy because of their superior performance and high precision.The new cold rolling mill uses three DC motors to realize the roll drive,rotary drive and feed drive.The quality of the cold rolled tube is directly determined by its performance and operating status.The existing on-site monitor of the cold rolling mill realizes the monitoring of the running status of the cold rolling mill in the production process by collecting the voltage and current signals of the driving motor,and can be connected to the upper computer to realize the storage and management of monitoring data.With the technological upgrade and popularization of new cold rolling mills,the mill factories and manufacturers are facing challenges in equipment installation and commissioning,use and maintenance,fault maintenance,quality tracking,etc.It is necessary to provide a full range of technical means for operation monitoring,data management and information interaction across regions to meet the application requirements at different stages.In view of the above,the thesis studies and designs a remote monitoring and management system for cold rolling mills to improve the technical level of cold rolling mills in installation,use,maintenance and management,and to provide a strong guarantee for mill factories and manufacturers to realize the full life cycle management of equipment.The thesis analyzes the application requirements of the mill factories and manufacturers in different stages of on-site installation and commissioning,normal production,equipment maintenance planning and management,fault repair,after-sales service,design quality feedback,etc.Then for the three typical application scenarios of commissioning and maintenance,monitoring management and quality management,the thesis puts forward the total price design scheme of the remote monitoring and management system of the cold rolling mill,and puts forward the design requirements of each part of the system.Next,the thesis divides the design and development of the system into three parts: system communication,server software,and client software.The system communication design includes the hardware design of the field monitor,the hardware and software design of the communication module(Bluetooth 4.0,GPRS,RS485),the custom serial communication protocol,and the network communication protocol.The background remote server design is mainly composed of application server design and database design.The application server implements network communication with the PC client,mobile client and field monitor terminal,as well as database read and write transactions.The database is responsible for storing the cold rolling mill site monitoring data and various data of the information management system.The mobile client is developed based on the Android platform to realize BLE communication with the field monitor device and two-way communication relying on the background server with the remote mobile client,and it provides users with functions such as data monitoring and data uploading.The PC client is developed based on the Qt platform,which realizes RS485 communication with the field monitor device and socket network communication with the back-end server.It also provides users with functions of information management and data monitoring.The entire remote monitoring and management system is developed based on the C/S architecture,and users can communicate with the server through various clients.To verify whether the remote monitoring and management system of the cold rolling mill meets the design specifications,communication test and functional test of the system are conducted by the thesis after the system is built.The test result shows that the system is stable and reliable.The thesis concludes with a summary of the work completed and the shortcomings of this design,and prospects the future development and application of the remote monitoring and management system for cold rolling mills.
