A Quantitative Study On The Spatial Form Of The Traditional Settlements Of The Gelao People In Wuchuan

This article takes the traditional settlement space form of the Gelao ethnic group in Wuchuan as the research object,analyzes the background and reasons for the formation of the traditional settlement space form of the Gelao ethnic group,and divides the traditional settlement space form of the Gelao ethnic group into material space form and non-material space on this basis.Two levels of morphology are quantitatively analyzed.Through the research and analysis of three sample settlements in Longtan Village,Ma Gongpo Village,and Maotian Village,the results of the study show that:(1)The traditional settlements of the Gelao ethnic group in Wuchuan have relatively complicated and trivial borders.Longtan Village is a finger-shaped settlement with no clear tendency,Ma Gongpo belongs to a cluster-like settlement,and Maotian Village is a finger-like settlement with a cluster-like tendency.Quantitative research found that Longtan Village has the most abundant boundary space,followed by Ma Gongpo,and Maotian Village’s The boundary space is relatively monotonous compared with Longtan Village and Ma Gongpo;the boundary space of Longtan Village is relatively rich.(2)The traditional residential buildings of the Gelao ethnic group in Wuchuan are mainly flat-shaped,supplemented by a relatively high proportion of L-shaped and U-shaped(three-in-one courtyards).There are a small number of "Hui"-shaped buildings in Longtan Village;Mao Tiancun chose the public activity node centered on the village committee to be relatively disordered,followed by the public activity node centered on Dachaomen in Longtan Village,and Ma Gongpo chose the public activity node centered on the village entrance square to be relatively orderly.(3)The connection value,average depth value and integration degree of the three traditional settlements of Gelao ethnic group are closely related.The lower the depth value,the higher the connection value and integration degree of the space.On the whole,the connectivity,accessibility,and permeability of the roads and lanes of the Sanya settlement are the best in Ma Gongpo,followed by Longtan Village,and the lowest in Maotian Village.(4)Among the three sample Gelao traditional settlements,the texture of the facial space in Longtan Village is more complex,the texture is more complete,and the texture is more irregular.The local spaces of Longtan Village and Ma Gongpo can better perceive the overall space,while Maotian Village is more difficult to perceive the overall space.The average fractal dimension of the three sample settlements is1.6340,which is in the upper middle level within the range of 1 to 2.It can be seen that the spatial form of the traditional settlements of the Wuchuan Gelao ethnic group presents a high spatial complexity and a relatively concentrated distribution.Morphological characteristics trend.(5)By dividing the "virtual" and "real" spaces in Longtan Village,the village topology map was established,which verified the correlation between the internal social order and the spatial structure of Longtan,and revealed the general characteristics of the spatial layout of the traditional settlements of the Gelao ethnic group in Wuchuan County.Based on the general characteristics of the spatial layout of the traditional settlement of the Wuchuan Gelao ethnic group,a strategy for the activation and utilization of the traditional settlement space of the Wuchuan Gelao ethnic group is proposed from three levels: physical space,non-material space,and security implementation strategies.This article combines the current requirements for the revitalization and construction of the traditional settlements of the Gelao ethnic group in Wuchuan,and uses multiple research methods to quantitatively analyze the spatial morphology of the traditional settlements of the Gelao ethnic group in Wuchuan.The strategy for the activation and utilization of the traditional settlement space of the ethnic group can provide relevant theoretical basis for the protection planning of the traditional settlement in Wuchuan area,and has certain reference value for the rural construction and revitalization of Wuchuan.
