The Loess Gully Region is the worst-hit area of soil and water loss in China,and faces extreme weather of rainstorm or drought all the year round.Traditional villages growing here are developing.In order to cope with this unique natural environment characteristics,their unique wisdom of human settlement is reflected in the construction of their villages.By studying the water management experience and construction characteristics of traditional villages in the loess gully region,we can learn the water management wisdom and construction skills accumulated by working people in their survival and development,so as to carry out more suitable design for flood and drought prevention in rural areas,and improve the landscape quality of villages with similar flood and drought environments.Taking traditional villages in the loess gully region as the research object,this paper investigated and studied the water management experience and construction characteristics of traditional villages,and summarized and translated them into graphical results for application and design test.The specific research contents and results are as follows:First,summarize the severe environmental characteristics of the loess gully region,based on different FDD traditional villages in the area of a feature is divided into: by cliff,pit,phenotypic three types,and under each type,choose the three sample villages,a total of nine samples construction has carried on the field survey,contains village location,shape,sorting system layout and related structures research.Second,comb for nine samples of research achievements of traditional villages,the principle of water contained in experience,from the morphology of the location and layout,sorting system structure,water facilities and public space,the space of water facilities and transportation and agriculture related water measures in five aspects,carries on the concise summary by this language expression.Third,combined with the content of the above summary,traditional villages in Pu Cheng county Cai Deng village water experience design test,put forward the planning structure of catchment prevent waterlogging,residents from the house to the group unit to design a replicable model,and then to the whole village landscape structure and the distribution of the catchment area of the test design,to reduce the village waterlogging disaster risk,improve the village landscape quality,improve the quality of village public space,and add the purpose of the villagers live happiness.At the same time,it also provides some ideas to solve problems for surrounding villages facing similar flood and drought problems,and achieves the purpose of drought and flood prevention through design means...
