In recent years,with the continuous development of our country economic society,the people’s demand for aviation is constantly increasing.And the situation that our country airport industry faces is: On the one hand is the overloading of large hubairports,on the other hand is a lot of small and medium-sized airport development lags behind.So relieving the operating pressure of large hub airports and actively developing small and medium-sized airports have become an important focus for the development of civil aviation industry.This article research object A airport company is a small and medium-sized airport located in a remote area.Due to the support of local government,the support of civil aviation authorities,the promotion of local tourism and many other reasons,the number of flights taking off and landing,passenger throughput and cargo throughput are increasing rapidly,and the pressure of safety and management is also increasing day by day.In order to improve the management level and promote the realization of corporate strategic goals,A airport company has formulated a performance management system.However,due to the influence of various factors,there are many problems in the formulation and implementation process of A airport company’s performance management system,so that its performance management has not achieved a good effect.Guided by many performance management theories and follow the train of thought of finding,analyzing and solving problems,explain the basic theory of performance management,literature research method,questionnaire method,interview method and other methods are used to comprehensively analyze and study the current situation of A airport company’s performance management,to find out the problems existing in its performance management process such as concept deviation,vague understanding,lack of extensive participation,unclear division of responsibilities,unclear work flow,unreasonable performance indicators,performance is not in place,the performance appraisal process is not perfect,there are weak links in performance feedback,poor application of performance results and the reasons for its formation.After that,it puts forward the improvement measures from the aspects of improving the cognition of performance management,realizing the effective combination of company strategy and performance management.Finally,the corresponding safeguard measures are put forward.I hope that the results of this paper can provide a useful reference for the future performance management of A airport company,and play a role in the construction and innovation of the performance management system of small and medium-sized airports.
