Research On The Evolution Of Urban Collective Leisure Culture In My Country Since The Reform And Opening Up

Since the reform and opening up,urban collective leisure culture has become a cultural phenomenon related to the public life in our society closely,and has also become the life interest and spiritual support of the urban public,especially the middle-aged and elderly groups.The emergence of leisure culture is not only the embodiment of the transformation of modern urban public life style,but also the symbol of the rising level of modern life demand.Since the reform and opening up,our society has experienced great changes in social structure,production and life style,collective consciousness and so on.The traditional rural society has gradually turned to the modern urban society,and the acquaintance society has changed to the stranger society;the machine production has replaced the manual production,the social productivity has been continuously improved,and the satisfaction of the mass material life has promoted the emergence of spiritual and cultural needs;the mass lifestyle and communication have changed greatly,and the awareness of fitness has gradually appeared in the mass life,and began to pay attention to the reconstruction of communication relationship in the new era.Urban collective leisure culture has become an indispensable part of people's daily life.To some extent,leisure culture is related to the urbanization of modern society closely.In this paper,Z city is a city formed after the urbanization from county to city after the reform and opening up.Urban residents have experienced the process of local urbanization,and have a deep memory of the transformation from old life to new life,including collective leisure culture.The transformation of leisure choice from ballroom dancing to public square dancing is the embodiment of social transformation in the daily leisure life of residents.The urban collective leisure culture is in the process of continuous change.To find out the internal logic of change and the problems in the process of change is conducive to more in-depth excavation of leisure culture and accurate prediction of the future development trend of urban collective leisure culture.From the perspective of structuralism,this paper selects two similar urban collective leisure cultural phenomena(ballroom dancing and public square dancing),as the representative leisure culture of the two times since the reform and opening up,analyzes the social characteristics and social functions of the two cultural phenomena from the perspective of time,and explains the internal logic and functional change of urban collective leisure culture on this basis.In this study,participatory observation,in-depth interviews and other qualitative research methods are the main research methods to explore the evolution of urban collective leisure culture in China since the reform and opening up.With the social modernization,urban collective leisure culture has continuous changes.It has experienced the transformation from traditional leisure to collective leisure,the latter is usually to adapt to the needs of society and the times better,and the latter is inherited,innovated and redeveloped.Through the research,the author thinks that the evolution of urban collective leisure culture is manifested in the external form,constituent elements,production mechanism and internal function.? The changes of the elements of urban collective leisure culture can be embodied in the following aspects:connotation(elegance to popularity),form(multi-requirements to randomization),participants(youth group to middle-aged and elderly group),style(fashion to practicality).? The change of production mechanism of urban collective leisure culture is embodied in the support of producer,audience and media technology to urban collective leisure culture,as well as the representation of spatial change of spatial reconstruction.Meanwhile,in the process of leisure culture development,ideology-expressed as power regulationas the bottom line that must be observed,continues to play a role.?Urban collective leisure culture usually has five major social functions(health,communication,social integration,information intermediary and memory),which are reflected in the social and personal levels.In the process of change,the function of physical fitness is gradually strengthened,and the function of mental health has been highly effective;The function of communication has changed in internal ways,objects and purposes;The modem urban collective leisure culture is conducive to the reconstruction of social form and the reverse transformation from stranger society to acquaintance society;The information intermediary function is weakening with the coming of the information age;The memory function appears in the urban collective leisure culture,and the modern public feel the common collective memory in the physical practice of the urban collective leisure culture.Finally,through analyzing the changes of urban collective leisure culture,the author find that there are some problems in the process of changes,such as unbalanced development,unclear definition of "culture" characteristics of urban collective leisure culture by the public,lack of public space and so on.The author puts forward the corresponding measures from the social and individual aspects to provide reference for the further development of urban collective leisure culture.In view of the shortcomings of this study,the author will continue to explore and improve in the follow-up research.
