On The History Of Amdo Cooperation Milarepa Buddha Pavilion And Its Influence On Tourism

The main theme of this analyzed article is all about Mila's 9story Sekhar tower of the Gaden Choekhor Ling which is located in Ganan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.The holy Milarepa statue was bestowed to him by his Guru Shar Kalden Gyatso.the temple was constructed into the formation of nine story Serkhar tower gradually in each passing century and the outside design of this tower was brighten by the Tibetan ancient architectural model.Moreover in that tower,there are numerous statues like three main masters of Kagyu school's Mar Mer Tak including all the leading masters of each sects of Tibetan Buddhism,also holy relics and some other objects of worship.Because of that the tower shines it's unique significance on aspects of history and construction,It got the title of second Sekher tower due to it have been a treasury.Now a days,It listed in AAA national tourism center.However,there are very scarce reference sources except few documents and monastic history so far.Plus,few researched papers appeared and it's mainly focused on the progress of the history so that it is not completely analyzed in order to explore as history,In my researched paper,i have mainly focused on the historical progress of Domey province and Zu 9 story Sekher tower,also related monastic history,biography and dharma history,plus,collected all the sources through the available articles and references.The structure of this thesis is formed by its preface,main subject and conclusion.In the first chapter,from the history of 9 story Sekher tower,it discussed on how Ronpo Lama Marmar(other name;Dakpa Gyaltsen)had established Choeyu Sakar hermitage in 1619 and apart from it,examined on his birth origin and the local officials who invited him to explore the historical background of that period,meanwhile analyzing on sources related with Bhi Sherab Chokden's contribution to the lay out of the basement of Sekhar tower.My stand on why Sekher Tower was built is that Shar Kalden Gyatso bestowed the Mila statue to his pupil Bhi Sherab and later in 1678,Bhi Sherab Chokden had built a small temple and the Mila statue as the main worship object inside it.Exploring on external and internal causes of constructing the temple,besides examining on the temple's name and place where the temple was built with reference of Master Mila Ripa's Lhudak 9story Sekher Tower.In the second chapter,about the history of Sekher tower,we brought down all the related history and information about the Master Lobsang Darjee who constructed this temple in the form of 9 story tower and meanwhile we went through and collected all the related sources of the period in which Sekher temple was constructing into that model.These all views and statements i have collected can not be a proper reason to support the point of 9 story Sekher tower as it was built in 1777 AD and this proclamation was spared aside.By reasoning out and statements,had supported The view of Sekher temple was built in 1873 AD.In the last,concluded the temple's internal and external structures with the references of old photos and some sources.In the third chapter,discussed about development of history of the temple,in which the statement was made on the causes of deterioration of the temple during the culture revolution and throw the light on how the decline was done by interviewing the related people,then how the temple was restored during the time of late revival of Tibetan Buddhism and the people who reconstructed the temple.Finally,the discussion was done on the presence of all the relics and statues of four schools of Tibetan Buddhism through the sociology means.The Fourth chapter lists about why this temple is secular.In which particularly discuss on the special feature of secularism of the temple to make a comparative analysis data of the main differences between the presence of status of all Tibetan Buddhism sects in the temple before and after the reconstruction.I mainly discussed on two points differently from the founder of temple,Master Lobsang Darjee and devotees for this temple being as secular.In the fifth chapter,through the means of interviewing and investigating,firstly.About the situation of tourism progress of the temple and,then it's impact or influence on the development of the tourism is discussed from five aspects.Besides,pull out the existing problems in the cultural tourism development by investigating and jot down as example in this paper.Finally,under the context of new era of religious cultural tourism development,for the sake of promotion and protection of traditional culture,some solutions to the problems are marked as the points to be analyzed.
