The degree adverb is the sub-class which uses high frequency in the adverb, and in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, the degree adverb teaching also has certain difficulty.Based on the present situation, the main research object of this paper is “feichang, yichang, tebie, xiangdang” among the high order of absolute degree adverbs.Through the detailed description and analysis of the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic features of the four degree adverbs, this paper makes a further distinction between the four high order absolute degree adverbs with similar is expected to be helpful to the study of modern Chinese degree adverbs. The first chapter is the introduction. This paper mainly expounds the research background and significance, the current research status and trend of scholars, and the ideas and methods of this paper. The second chapter is the comparison of the syntactic distribution of the degree adverb “feichang, yichang, tebie, xiangdang”.Mainly based on the corpus of CCL modern Chinese corpus,it is divided into three subsections to describe and explain the four degree adverbs in the selection of sentence categories, the syntactic position of the structure X the degree adverbs in the sentence, and their ability to modify adjectives, verbs and verb-object phrases and nouns in the syntactic function. The third chapter is the comparison of the semantic features of the degree adverb “feichang, yichang, tebie, xiangdang”.The similarities and differences of these four degree adverbs in semantic features are compared and analyzed,so that the common points of their semantic features are: degree quantity is a continuum, degree quantity is not unique. The difference is that the first is that the semantic direction is different, except that “yichang” can be both anterior and posterior, the other three degree adverbs can only be posterior. The next four, although all belong to the high order of magnitude in the absolute degree adverb, among them, the “xiangdang” semantic degree is the most high, and the degree of “feichang” semantics is the lowest. The fourth chapter is the comparison of the pragmatic features of the degree adverb “feichang, yichang, tebie, xiangdang”.Based on the corpus of CCL ancient Chinese corpus,it is divided into four subsections to discuss the grammaticalization process of the four degree adverbs,so as to compare and analyze the similarities and differences of the four degree adverbs in pragmatic characteristics,so as to draw their pragmatic similarities and differences.First of all, these four degree adverbs can be used in the spoken and written environment, but “feichang”in both written and spoken language is very strong,“xiangdang”is a strong degree adverb in spoken language,“tebie” tilt To the colloquial style,“yichang”emphasis on language color.Secondly,in the use frequency,“feichang”use frequency is the highest,“yichang”use frequency is the lowest. Finally,in subjectivity, the degree adverb “feichang”is the most subjective,“tebie”is the second,“yichang” is the third,“xiangdang 1”is the weakest subjective, and the spoken language is xiangdang 2 subjective. The fifth chapter is the conclusion. This paper summarizes the previous four chapters, especially comparing the syntactic functions of the four with their usage, and concludes that “the ability of degree adverbs to modify the central language is proportional to its usage, and the two are mutually reinforcing.”This conclusion. Finally, the innovation and shortcomings of this paper are summarized.
