Enigmatic literature is a unique literary style in ancient China. It sprouted as a special language form in the folks during the pre-Qin period. It was then widely used by lobbyists and brought into the court as a political method to persuade the emperor.During the Han Dynasty,on the basis of inheriting the pre-Qin lingo, the function of entertainment evolved and became a way of entertainment between the monarch and his subjects.By the time of the Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, metaphorical literature had been widely popular in society, appeared in all aspects of people's lives, and presented a prosperous scene. The biggest feature of intangible literature is its "hidden",that is,it hides the meaning that is easy to explain under the inconvenience of expressing it,and expresses it by means of other things. The purpose is to let the other party guess the meaning in the words,in order to achieve the speaking purpose. This feature makes the scope of application of lingo very wide.In terms of politics, the most prominent feature is that officials often use lingo when they satirize the monarch.Putting the reason you want to explain in other things to state,to cause the monarch to think,so as to achieve the purpose of persuasion, this is the safest way of satire with the highest success rate.In addition, lingo is also a very good carrier in expressing feelings and seeking entertainment, and can achieve good results.Intangible literature is not a literary genre with very clear definitions and boundaries because of its own particularity. It is also because of this that it is closely related to many styles. In the process of its generation and evolution,it continuously merged and penetrated with other styles, leading to its innovative and varied styles. Therefore, when studying intangible language literature,we have a better understanding of other styles.
