| Cavalleria rusticana,is a realist opera created by Pietro Mascagni,and harmony plays an important role in its dramatic creation.As the founder of a new music style,the current domestic research on Musicology and singing analysis is mainly carried out from the perspective of musicology and singing analysis,while there is little research on Mascagni 's composing techniques.So it is necessary to set up a special topic for harmony research.Based on the perspective of harmony,this paper analyzes the Cavalleria rusticana from the following four aspects through the methods of case study,comparative study and literature research.First,based on the perspective of philology,this paper expounds Mascagni 's character life and his creative experience,and obtains the plot structure by analyzing the drama characters and plot,and excavates the relationship between music structure and drama performance from the drama structure.Second,it analyzes the overall tonality of the work,and obtains the characteristics of the tonal layout,as well as the application characteristics of tonal expansion and tonal transfer.Third,from the two aspects of harmony materials and harmony,this paper makes an in-depth study of the harmony techniques of the work,and then explores Mascagni 's personalization and vocal thinking in the country knights.Fourth,on the basis of the previous chapters,summarize the role of harmony in shaping characters and promoting the development of the plot in this opera.It is found that Mascagni gradually broadens the framework of traditional harmony norms based on the traditional harmony function of major and minor system,through high-stacked chords,additional chords,color parallel and unexpected.Form a complex way of thinking and personal harmony style.Therefore,the analysis of harmony used in Cavalleria Rusticana not only provides an effective theoretical basis for the comprehensive study of Mascagni music works,but also provides technical reference for the innovation of Chinese opera. |
