With the development of the times,artistic change,educational reform and cultural revival are the new development direction in the contemporary context.Last century's art is fashionable,intense,rapid development.The dualistic opposition between "traditional" and "modern" has attracted numerous debates.Artists have explored and driven the fine arts education in colleges.Therefore,the artist has a dual identity,artists and art educator.With the advent of the new era,the development of science and technology,the diversity of media,the impact of visual culture and image era,the openness of global vision,"Easel Painting" and " Conceptual" seem to become a new binary opposition,which causes us to think about the essence of art,and the professional art education need to have corresponding development.Through the study of Luo Gongliu's personal artistic creation and teaching practice,this paper turns the "static" history into "dynamic",and reflects on the development of Chinese higher art education in the new era.Through the attention of senior artists,this study draws nutrition from the exploration of senior artists' education and teaching,and seeks for innovation and development in the review.When we are confused on the way forward,we can look back on the past,gain growth,so as to make a new exploration of education and teaching.With the help of the scientific nature of higher education,we can rethink the professional art teaching system of higher art colleges.
