Research On The Training Mode Of Sports Translation Talents From The Perspective Of ESP

Under the historical background of the new era,sports has become an important business card for China's foreign exchanges.The "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Sports Development" promulgated by the State Sports General Administration also proposes to take the opportunity of preparing for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics,2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and participating in major sports events to expand cooperation with international sports organizations and strengthen the right to speak in international sports affairs,and speed up the training of sports foreign affairs talents.Sports translators are playing an increasingly important role in sports foreign exchange activities,but the contradiction between the demand and shortage of sports translators has become increasingly prominent,and there is a relatively lack of research on the training models of sports translators at home and abroad.This article aims to explore the training mode and countermeasures of sports translation talents based on ESP theory and research.While analyzing the training mode of sports translation talents in domestic universities,it provides a reference for better training excellent sports translation talents.First,this article summarizes the contradiction between the demand and shortage of sports translation talents in our country through literature research,and takes the training model of sports translation talents in Chengdu Sport University as a case,and clarifies the research subject and content through the conceptual definition of ESP theory and talent training mode to build basic theoretical support for research.Secondly,with one graduate of 2017 sports humanities and sociology major in sports translation and two 2018 graduate students majoring in sports translation as the subjects of interview analysis,a case analysis was conducted on the topic selection based on the professional training model.At the same time,Through a questionnaire survey of 169 students from Chengdu Sport University majoring in English(foreign language and foreign affairs in sports)and graduate students majoring in sports translation,taking Chengdu Sports University as a case to analyze the status quo and shortcomings of the training model of sports translation talents.Thirdly,based on interviews and questionnaires,combined with ESP theory,the essay conduct in-depth research on the training model of sports translation talents in Chengdu Sport University.The study found that although the current talent training model is relatively reasonable and has a better guiding role in the training of sports translation talents,but there are still some problems and shortcomings which mainly focus on: the training goals and specifications are not clear enough,and the college's transmission of student training goals not deep enough,there are certain drawbacks in the enrollment model;the teaching content and curriculum structure is not reasonable enough,the curriculum system is not perfect,the pace and intensity of curriculum reform is not strong enough,the curriculum system lacks an organic combination of academic research and practical ability,etc.;teaching quality assurance system not scientific enough,there are problems such as imperfect student practice activity framework system,imperfect educational assessment mechanism,incomplete supporting teaching materials and low utilization rate;teaching methods are not comprehensive enough,there is a single teaching method,lack of good quality and work required for the work the training of necessary skills and other issues reveal that the important reason for this series of problems is that the college did not start with the characteristics of ESP teaching and develop training programs from a comprehensive perspective.Finally,in order to further optimize the training model of sports translation talents,the author based on the perspective of the trainees(students),from the training objectives and specifications of sports translation talents training mode,teaching content and courses,teaching quality assurance system and teaching methods and methods.This dimension puts forward some suggestions for the current training mode of sports translation talents.Clarifying the training goals and specifications can start from increasing the college's transmission of training goals and improving the enrollment model,so that students can better understand the training goals.To improve teaching content and courses requires further adjustment of the curriculum structure,improvement of the curriculum system,increase of interdisciplinary courses and sports English courses,increase the proportion of professional courses and the pace of curriculum reform,and strengthen the organic combination of students' scientific research knowledge and practical ability exercise,and the construction is more consistent.Curriculum setting for the training of sports translation talents;optimizing the teaching quality assurance system can start from improving the framework system of students' practical activities and the educational assessment mechanism,increasing the comprehensiveness of supporting teaching materials,and improving the utilization of teaching materials;improving teaching methods and teaching methods The point is to enrich teaching methods and means,realize the integration of teaching venues,and effectively improve the level of students' translation skills.
