| This paper aims to delve into and test the coating technology for animation sculptures;summarize the rules and characteristics of the coating methods in different application scenarios in order to better apply them in coating design,thus further expanding the artistic expression scope of the coating process throughout the animation sculpture design.Delving into the coating technology not only enriches the characters depicted by the animation sculpture works,but also elevates their value in multiple dimensions.By focusing on the brush coating method and spray coating method,this paper compares the application effects,factors affecting the application,application scenarios as well as strengths and weaknesses of the two methods.Moreover,this paper designs experiments to compare the practical effects of four kinds of paint commonly-used for animation sculptures.To be specific,the nitro propylene paint,oil-based enamel paint,water-soluble acrylic paint,and water-based emulsified paint are diluted in different ratios;then how the different ratios affect indicators such as chrominance,glossiness,and adhesion tension is compared,and the strengths and weaknesses are weighed;the application scenario for each dilution ratio is figured out accordingly.In addition,the paper examines the improvement of paint adhesion and the simultaneous use of multiple paint types.This paper on the coating technology aims to enrich theories of animation sculptures and promote the development of the animation sculpture sector. |
