Oral Chinese teaching is one of the important contents of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Oral expression and communicative competence can reflect the level of foreign students' Chinese proficiency. From the perspective of language communication, the level of foreign students' oral Chinese affects the effect of language expression and information transmission. However, there are still many problems in oral Chinese teaching at present, such as insufficient time for students' oral practice, and large gap between students' written and oral test scores.Memetics,as an innovative research direction of applied linguistics in recent years,is a new theoretical discipline which integrates different theoretical knowledge. From the perspective of language, language is meme, which can become meme as long as it is copied and spread by imitation.Through reading and sorting out the literature,it is found that oral teaching from the perspective of Memetics is rarely involved in the field of Chinese as a foreign language at present, with few theoretical and practical achievements, lack of strong data support in empirical research. Therefore, under the guidance of Memetics, this study designs a teaching model of primary oral Chinese as a foreign language, verifies the feasibility and efficiency of this teaching model in primary oral Chinese teaching as a foreign language through teaching experiments,to help students learn Chinese and improve their oral Chinese level. In this study,a semester-long teaching experiment was conducted for 24 students in a primary class of this university by means of quantitative and qualitative research. This research uses random sampling to select one class as the experimental class, and the other class as the control class. The two classes were pre-tested before the experiment and were post-tested after the experiment. Then, the questionnaire survey and interview were conducted in the experimental class. The questionnaire is in the form of a five-level scale, and the interview adopts a semi-structured way to conduct in-depth interviews with students. The research results are obtained by sorting out and analyzing the data. The results show that the students' oral Chinese scores in the experimental class and the control class have been significantly improved, but there are significant differences in the post-test scores between the experimental class and the control class, which indicates that the application of the primary oral Chinese teaching model based on Memetics can effectively improve the students' oral Chinese scores. At the same time, the questionnaire and interview show that students are very satisfied with the teaching mode, and think that it can effectively help them improve their oral Chinese scores and level, and enhance their enthusiasm for learning Chinese. At the same time, using the methods of recitation and imitation can help them remember what they have learned and speak more sentences. Therefore, teachers should actively use the new oral teaching mode, emphasize students' memory process of knowledge, pay attention to students' oral expression, and strengthen the interaction and communication between students, teachers, classmates and different media.
