At present,China is in the process of shifting from a large country of higher education to a powerful one,and there is an urgent need to absorb the excellent theories of higher education reform.This report is completed based on the practice of EnglishChinese Translation of chapter 5 of the higher education reform work Learning-Centred Leadership in Higher Education: Sustainable Approaches to the Challenges and Responsibilities.The translator's study of this text focuses on three aspects: translation of specialized vocabulary,translation of interjections,and explicit translation of the text,conveying the precise meaning of specialized vocabulary in context,interpreting the meaning of interjections by using the methods of abbreviation,transform and rearrangement,and using explicit translation to clarify the correspondence and logical relationship of the text,so that the meaning of the translated sentences is closely linked and the language is coherent.Through this translation research,more people can understand the foreign excellent theories related to higher education reform,and provide theoretical reference for the researchers in the field of higher education reform in China.Meanwhile,this translation research can also provide a reference for the subsequent translation practice of similar translation methods and techniques.
