With the improvement of China's comprehensive national strength,the wave of "Chinese fever" is heating up all over the world.The American linguist Sapir once said,"There is something behind language,and language cannot exist without culture." Language and culture complement each other.If learners want to learn Chinese well,they must understand Chinese culture.As a part of excellent traditional culture,Chinese classic poem is an important carrier for learners of Chinese to learn language and culture.Because of its special genre form,Chinese classic poem has become a teaching difficulty in international Chinese education.From this point of view,the author proposes to teach Chinese classic poes by reciting and singing to help learners better understand Chinese culture and improve their comprehensive ability.Therefore,based on his own practical experience and teaching ideas,the author discusses how to apply reciting and singing to international Chinese education through Literature research,questionnaire,interviewing and statistical analysis method.This paper mainly includes the following parts:The first part is the introduction.This part mainly introduces the reason for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the study,the theoretical basis of the study,combs and summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad,and points out the innovation,research ideas and research methods of this paper;The second part is the investigation of the application of reciting and singing classic poems in international Chinese education.This part explores the feasibility of ancient poetry singing in international Chinese education through questionnaires and interviews.The survey results show that the teaching of reciting and singing classic poems is feasible,which is a guide to the subsequent teaching design;The third part is the application of reciting and singing classic poems in international Chinese education.This part analyzes the application value of reciting and singing Chinese classic poems in international Chinese education from the aspects of learning interest,phonetics,grammar and vocabulary,and cultural teaching.Based on the previous research results and practical teaching experience,the author puts forward the corresponding teaching principles,and then explores the teaching mode of reciting and singing classic poems;The fourth part is the teaching design of singing and reciting classic poems in international Chinese education.In this paper,we take "An Ode to Snowflakes" and “A travelling Son's Chant”in the textbook as examples to design a teaching plan and an activity design,and apply the plan of "An Ode to Snowflakes" to practical teaching.This paper demonstrates the value of reciting and singing through practice and summarizes the experience based on teaching reflections and students' teaching feedback.Finally,we propose pedagogical suggestions in terms of teaching targets,teaching methods,teaching depth,chant presentation,cultural exchange and teaching assistance;The fifth part summarizes the application of singing and reciting classic poems in international Chinese education,and points out the existing problems and shortcomings.
