Research On Communicative Expression Practice In Business Chinese Textbooks

The design of communicative expression exercises in business Chinese textbooks should be based on the characteristics of business Chinese and communication strategies.Business Chinese has the characteristics of strictness,formality,accuracy,politeness and argumentation;Communication strategies include communication tasks,communication functions,communication roles,style and discourse structure.The content design standards of communicative expression exercises in business Chinese textbooks,namely the standards of business Chinese characteristics and communication strategies,are as follows: 1 The communicative task should be read or deduced from the topic stem;2.Use a variety of communicative functions in the process of practice;3.The relationship between communicative roles should be clearly explained in the question stem;4.The stylistic style in the exercise should reflect the characteristics of strict,formal,accurate and polite business Chinese,and these characteristics should appear in the prompt module in the form of vocabulary or structure;5.The exercise process should have strong operability.The relevant information of discourse structure and auxiliary expression should be provided in the prompt module,reflect the argumentative characteristics of business Chinese,and appear in the prompt module in the form of vocabulary or syntactic structure.Through the investigation of four sets of business Chinese textbooks,the interview with business Chinese teachers and the questionnaire survey of business Chinese learners,this paper verifies the realization of five standards for the content design of communicative expression exercises.The investigation results of the textbooks show that the four sets of business Chinese textbooks have unclear and insignificant problems in the arrangement of communication tasks,the use of communication functions and the description of communication role relations;There are some problems in the stylistic style,discourse structure and the characteristics of business Chinese.The interview results of teachers show that the business Chinese textbooks commonly used by teachers can not meet the five standards,and students generally have problems such as unclear understanding,logical confusion and dare not express when teachers explain communicative expression exercises.Through the explanation of the revised communicative expression exercise,the five teachers agreed that the above problems of students have been greatly improved.The questionnaire survey results of students show that through the comparison of the completion of practical exercises before and after the two exercises,the accuracy,integrity and fluency of students' expression have been greatly improved,and the improvement effect is more than 80%.According to the content design standards of communicative expression exercises in business Chinese textbooks,this paper puts forward specific suggestions on the use of business terms,polite vocabulary and structure,and the use of connectives and discourse markers,and puts forward specific requirements for communication tasks,communication functions,communication roles,style and discourse structure.At the same time,this paper designs examples of communicative expression exercises for three main business activities: business investigation,business negotiation and commodity purchase and sale,which can be used as a reference for business Chinese teachers.
