A healthy and stable development of security service industry has a close relationship with implementation of security professional education.The major of ensuring public security in secondary vocational education is an important part of security professional education.Professional security education in secondary vocational school has made great progress,but we must acknowledge that secondary vocational schools pay much more attention on skill education than legal education.The training of basic and professional legal knowledge is insufficient.Teaching effectiveness is relative low.Law awareness and sense of student is faint,which has a negative effect on overall development and professional development of them.The development of security service industry is also influenced negatively.This article researches on the teaching of legal practice major in security guard in secondary vocational school,which is based on Tyler's principle and the model of the implementation of Rogan Curriculum,and two secondary vocational schools in Guangzhou and Jiangsu province are taken as the research example respectively.Through the questionnaire survey of students and the interview of teachers,three problems are summed up after rational analysis.Firstly,the teaching system of legal practice major in security guard in secondary vocational school is imperfect.The quality of teaching content is plain and curriculum is unreasonable.Secondly,the learning effect of student is not good on course of legal practice.Students lack basic legal knowledge and good learning attitude.Thirdly,the level of teachers teaching legal curriculum is uneven.The quantity and quality of teachers is insufficient,and teaching method is tedious.The reasons of problems are as follows: school's attention on legal practice is insufficient;curriculum system is immature;teaching staff is not enough;reasons of students' own.Four suggestions are summed up according to problems.Firstly,curriculum system on legal practice should be strengthened.Specifically,the teaching content and curriculum should be improved,and teaching forms should be variable.Secondly,the professional knowledge of teacher should be improved.Teaching staff should be trained regularly,and the teaching techniques should be adjusted.Thirdly,the evaluation and feedback mechanism of legal practice curriculum should be improved.The mechanism includes the evaluation of teacher and the feedback of student.Fourthly,education department should make full use of social resources to strengthen the talent training in security service industry.Secondary vocational school should perfect higher education system,cooperate with security enterprise to train talent,and make full use of security service association.
