With the deepening of China's reform and opening up and the adjustment of the pattern of interests,social contradictions and disputes have become increasingly diversified and complicated,and have put forward new and higher requirements for the people's mediation work.To carry out good people's mediation work,the most important thing is to improve the quality of people's mediators.The improvement of the legal literacy of the people's mediators depends on the education of people's mediation.The teaching of people's mediation plays an important role in promoting the National rule of law process.At present,the law teaching in secondary vocational schools in China has achieved certain achievements,and we need to continue to study the people's mediation teaching on this basis,improve the quality of teaching,improve the legal literacy of students,and cultivate reserve forces for resolving contradictions and disputes.We will promote the rule of law and the building of a harmonious society.This paper first defines the secondary vocational education and secondary vocational schools,and analyzes the development of secondary vocational education related policies.Then the concept,characteristics and current situation of people's mediation are studied,and the importance of people's mediation work is emphasized.By studying the situation of people mediation teaching in secondary vocational schools in different regions,this paper analyzes the present situation of people mediation teaching in secondary vocational schools in China,points out the shortage of people mediation teaching in secondary vocational schools in China and the reasons for this situation.Then the necessity of developing people's mediation teaching in secondary vocational schools is analyzed.Finally,the author proposes that the state should strengthen the guidance and management functions of political and legal organs and improve the administrative mechanism of people's mediation and teaching.The school should set up the course reasonably,and clearly define the course orientation,teaching content,teaching mode and teaching method.The article points out that the present situation of teachers 'education concept is backward,the business ability is insufficient,the school teachers are abundant,and the skilled teachers are seriously lacking.We must adhere to the strategy of "introducing" and "going out".It also adjusted the teacher evaluation mechanism and improved the teacher promotion policy to establish a "double-teacher" teacher team with both theoretical level and professional skills.We must also strengthen cooperation between secondary vocational schools and judicial practice departments to improve practical teaching.Finally,it is proposed to optimize the teaching layout and promote the balanced development of the people's mediation teaching.lack of business ability.The status quo of the law school is sufficient and the skills of teachers are seriously lacking.It is necessary to adhere to the combination of “bringing in” and “going out”.Strategy,and adjust the teacher evaluation mechanism to improve the teacher promotion policy to build a team of double qualified teachers with both theoretical and vocational skills.It is also necessary to strengthen cooperation between judicial vocational colleges and judicial practice departments to improve the level of practical teaching.Finally,it is suggested to optimize the teaching layout and promote the balanced development of people's mediation teaching.
