Research On The Supply Problems And Countermeasures Of Elderly Care Services In K County Under The Rural Hollowing Environment

With the acceleration of urbanization process,more and more young and middle-aged labor force in rural areas have left the countryside to work in cities,affected by which,the number of rural elderly population has risen sharply.In this situation,the problem of providing for the rural elders has become one of the prominent problems in the process of building a new countryside.As the government,how to solve the problem of the supply of elderly care services for the rural elderly is directly related to the life quality and related to the development process of the full entry into a well-off society for our country.Accordingly,the government should regard the supply of rural elderly care services as a top priority.This thesis takes the problem of elderly care in rural areas of K County as the research object.Under the guidance of public goods theory,welfare pluralism theory,and needs hierarchy theory,this thesis studies the supply of elderly care services in rural areas of K County by means of literature research method,questionnaire survey method.Firstly,this thesis introduces the general situation of the rural areas in K County,and describes the current situation of rural migrant workers and the elderly,the current status of elderly care in rural areas,and the current supply of elderly care services.Secondly,on the basis of the questionnaire survey,the existing problems and causes in the supply of elderly care services for the rural elderly are analyzed.In terms of problems,it is mainly manifested in the insufficient supply of elderly care services,single content,single subject,and low resource utilization rate.The reasons for the above problems are mainly reflected in the relatively backward economic development,the separation of medical care and support,the insufficient government investment,and the weakened function of family pension.Finally,in view of the existing problems and reasons,this thesis puts forward the countermeasures,including promoting the rapid development of the rural economy,building a medical combination service supply system of medical care and elderly care,increasing government investment in the supply of rural elderly care services,and strengthening the function of family elderly care service services.The significance of this study is to provide solutions for the provision of elderly care services in rural areas in K County.
