An Analysis Of The Construction Of Power Relations On The Current Egyptian Political Ecology

The “Political Ecology” refers to the dynamic relationship which includes various political relations and political elements in the political pattern of the country.The current Political Ecology of Egypt returned to military power after decades of replacement.By referring to previous literatures,it is found that the domestic and foreign scholars' researches on the political forces and Political Ecology in Egypt are mostly simply listing the political forces or sorting out the evolution of the political situation in Egypt historically.Most of their analysis ideas belong to the analysis of Causal Mechanism,and few literatures reflect on the Egyptian issue from the perspective of Constructivism.There is even less analysis of the construction process of Egypt's current political ecology.This paper studies the current Political Ecology of Egypt under the Constructivist discourse,and explores the formation process and construction mechanism of various political forces,which is divided into six parts.In the clue part,explain the topic selection and significance of the paper,the current research status at home and abroad on this topic,the research content and research methods of this paper.In the Chapter I,it briefly introduces the constructionist theory foundation,including two construction models: process construction and power construction.Secondly,we should define the two concepts of “Political Ecology” and “Political Forces”.In the Chapter II,by reviewing the change of the Egyptian Political Ecology,the main Egyptian political forces and their political propositions can be seen in the process.Chapter III,the Process Constructivism model is used to analyze the formation process and Construction Mechanism of Egyptian main political forces.This paper analyzes the formation process of Free Officer's Movement and Salaf Al-Nour Party,and summarizes the Construction Mechanism of them as follows: “leadership and persuasion”.Through this mechanism,members construct “common knowledge”,thus form a cohesive political force.Chapter IV,using the Power Constructivism model,the Egyptian military established the compulsory power relationship against other political forces through legal provisions,violent repression,benefit induction and so on in the transitional period.After the administration of Al-Sisi,through repeated indoctrination in security,politics,social and cultural levels and the strengthening of power relations,finally formed the current Political Ecology of Egypt.In conclusion,the formation process and construction mechanism of Egyptian political forces are summarized as follows: “leadership and persuasion”,and the construction of political ecology is the “power construction” mechanism.
