Under the background of new curriculum reformation, the Chinese curriculum and the teaching reformation catch all the eyes. And the reconstruction of Chinese textbooks is a key link of them. Taiwan's Chinese teaching material is a special case of the Chinese language textbooks. The reason why this paper talks about Taiwan's Chinese textbooks from the perspective of cultural construction is that there is natural flesh-and-blood ties between Chinese teaching material and culture. First of all, the Chinese teaching material is a kind of special culture for itself; second, the connection between Chinese teaching material and the culture is that the textbook is a tool for culture inheritance. The Chinese textbooks published by Sanmin bookshop is a breakthrough in the traditional mold, not by subject or genre for a single write mode, but with the method of "unit" to edit, revealing the rich traditional cultural ambiance. This paper will take this set of textbooks as example to explore the cultural construction of Taiwan's Chinese teaching materials from three aspects.(1) It gives an overview of Taiwan's Chinese teaching materials on cultural characteristics, mainly referring to the compile concept and practice of holding fast to the culture and praising humanity highly. The text will concrete expound the Chinese teaching material from such four aspects as external morphology of Chinese textbooks, the rich diversity of auxiliary materials, the tendency to traditional culture of the articles, and problem sets have progressive levels.(2) It probes into the formation of concept of cultural construction of Taiwan's Chinese teaching materials, including tracing back to the history of its formation, recognizing the role that knowledge access mechanisms play in the Chinese teaching material construction, and explaining the concept of cultural construction from the culture function of Chinese textbooks and national culture. There is no doubt that analyzing the concept of cultural construction in-depth and grasping its essence and innate character is contributed to deepening reform and innovation of the mainland Chinese curriculum and teaching material.(3) On the basis of the two parts above, this chapter will summarize and sublimate Taiwan's Chinese teaching material characteristics from a cultural perspective, in three aspects which are perceptual, intellectual and symbolic characters of the Chinese teaching material.Researching a teaching material is to better provide advice and idea for new materials repairing, the essence of researching Chinese textbook in Taiwan is its enlightenment to teaching in China's mainland and reference of the mainland to improve the language teaching material, so as to play a positive role in promoting language lesson reform deeply.
