Senior high school is the most important stage in the process of individual growth. Therefore, high school students have their unique characteristics: sensitive, imaginative and creative, vulnerable to the impact of the external environment.Students at this stage need to be guided properly. At present, the main basis for evaluating high school students in China is their academic performance. Therefore, the biggest pressure of high school students is the pressure of entering universities, which comes from family, school, society and students themselves. The study on the structure of high school students' life satisfaction and its influence on their academic performance is conducive to understand high school students' life needs and satisfaction conditions comprehensively and clearly,so as to guide students' learning reasonably and scientifically and improve their academic performance. This thesis discusses the structure of high school students' life satisfaction based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, and establishes the relationship model between life satisfaction and academic achievement based on the expectation-confirmation theory model.Based on the Youth Life Satisfaction Scale, thesis builds up The Correlation Scale between High School Students' Life Satisfaction and Academic Performance and tests 400 high school students.Choosing SPSS and Amos as the data analysis tools, this thesis mainly uses the following analysis methods: average frequency analysis, independent sample T test and SEM structural equation model analysis.Through data analysis, the conclusions are as follows:First, the overall needs of high school students are basically satisfied. In fact, physical needs, safety needs, social needs, and respect needs are basically satisfied. Most high school students are not satisfied with their self-realization aspect and don't think they have won much honor in school.Second, the gender difference in life satisfaction of high school students is very obvious. On the whole, the life satisfaction of male students is higher than that of female students, and the academic performance of male students is slightly higher than that of female students, while the self-evaluation of life satisfaction and academic performance of the former is higher than that of the latter.Third, there are 11 hypotheses in this thesis. From the analysis of the hypothesis,it can be seen that the increase of physiological needs, safety needs, respect and self-realization needs significantly affect the life satisfaction of high school students. The positive impact of social needs on life satisfaction is not significant. The higher the life satisfaction of high school students, the higher their academic performance is.Self-realization needs have a significant positive effect on high school students' academic performance. The positive prediction of physiological and safety needs on academic performance is not significant. The academic performance is negatively affected by social needs and respect needs.Forth,Life satisfaction has no mediating effect between self-realization needs and academic performance.Life satisfaction has a masking effect between physical needs, safety needs, social needs and respect needs and academic performance. Finally, this thesis analyzes the influencing factors of life satisfaction and academic performance. This thesis mainly proposes the corresponding incentive measures for high school students' academic performance from the perspective of teachers and schools: paying attention to and meeting students' needs;focusing on gender differences;strengthening parent-school cooperation and tamping condition guarantee.
