Master's Graduates Career Choices Factors

In recent years, with the reform of higher education system in China,China’scollege enrollment to the Master continued, the competition of job market becomeincreasingly fierce, and the job dilemma of Master gradually become revealed andreceive the community’s attention.This reaerch uses the literature method, interviewmethod and questionnaire survey method, uses a full range to explore the factors thatinfluence the choice of occupation of the master graduates, to provide reference forthe selection of master degree graduates’ occupation.In this study, according to the current research of Master occupation choice, theresearcher uses self-compiled questionnaire ‘master degree graduates occupationchoice’, and selects the resident of Beijing city college master graduates as researchobject, using empirical analysis methods to study.On the basis of the questionnaire survey, this study through exploratory factoranalysis, summarys five major factors are the individual matching factor, theemployer matching factor, occupation development factor, occupation health factorand occupation prestige factor.Based on the mature occupation choice theories as the foundation, according tothe result of the investigation has launched the analysis and consideration of theinfluence factors of master graduates occupation selection, starting from the collegeand graduate personal point of view, put forward some valuable ideas and suggestions,provide the empirical basis, enriched the content of human resources management tosolve the employment problems of graduate.
