At present,maker education as an emerging education model has begun to spread in the primary school and high school,and curriculum has become an important form of support for the development of maker education.Although senior high schools are high-pressure areas to promote maker education,but maker education curriculum with special characteristics have been successively opened in Guangzhou's senior high schools.Maker education curriculum management is an important guarantee for the smooth implementation of maker education,but currently there are less practical experience in curriculum management that can be used for reference,and a mature maker education curriculum management system has not yet been established.Therefore,it is urgent to pay attention to the curriculum management of maker education in senior high schools.This research collects and organizes relevant information on maker education curriculum management in Guangzhou's senior high schools through document sorting,questionnaire surveys,interviews,field surveys and other forms.It aims to understand the current status of maker education curriculum management and reveal its problems and causes,and make recommendations for improvement,in order to provide reference for maker education curriculum management in high schools.This study combines the concept and content of curriculum management to determine the survey dimensions on the basis of relevant theories.It compiles questionnaires and interview outlines from the four aspects of maker education curriculum objective management,setting management,implementation management and curriculum evaluation management.The study used a sampling method to investigate 136 maker teachers in Guangzhou and 423 high school students participating in maker education curriculum.101 valid teacher questionnaires and 403 questionnaires were obtained.Research shows that there are many problems in the management of maker education curriculum in senior high schools in Guangzhou.(1)In terms of curriculum objective management: teachers and students have insufficient cognition of curriculum objectives,the management of curriculum objectives lacks standardization,and the formulation of curriculum objectives is too idealistic.(2)In terms of curriculum setting management: maker education curriculum have not been included in the curriculum plan,the curriculum content does not match the needs of students,and the class hours are seriously insufficient.(3)In terms of curriculum implementation management : the professional maker teachers are weakand the training is insufficient,the development and utilization of maker curriculum resources needs to be improved,and the standardization of maker curriculum teaching management activities is insufficient.(4)In terms of curriculum evaluation management: curriculum evaluation standards are difficult to define,curriculum evaluation methods are single,and curriculum evaluation results are difficult to collect.Based on the above survey results,after analyzing the causes of the problem from the three levels of government,school and teachers,this study proposes the following optimization strategies for the problems of maker education curriculum management: First,improve teachers and students cognition of curriculum objectives,standardize the management of maker education curriculum objectives,and set curriculum objectives concretely.Second,improve laws and policies,promote the comprehensive popularization of maker education curriculum,enrich the educational form,and promote the diversified development of maker education curriculum.Third,improve the maker training system,build a professional teaching team,fully develop and use maker curriculum resources,and standardize the management of maker teaching activities;fourth,establish a maker evaluation standard system and refine maker education curriculum evaluation methods,standardized management curriculum evaluation results.
