Paste And Tear:Community Integration And Countermeasures Of Patients With Schizophrenia In Rehabilitation Period Under Labeling Theory

Schizophrenia,as a kind of persistent mental illness with very high rate of morbidity and disability,will have a great negative impact on the patient's social function.Patients because of long-term hospitalization isolation,out of touch with society,at the same time,the existing social culture in different levels to give schizophrenic patients to pastes the "label",will make patients have been in the "transgression" state,unable to return to the normal track of life.The long-term accumulation of individuals and families in a state of transgression will have some impact on the stability of the overall social order.Therefore,how to help people with schizophrenia through the recovery period,tear off the patient's "label" to complete community integration,is worth studying and exploring.Based on the "Heart Bridge Project" supported by the China Women's Development Foundation and the Beijing Bridge Love Charitable Foundation,this paper explores and describes in detail the practical experience of social workers in the service cases of schizophrenia patients in the rehabilitation period,based on the case of case service of patients with schizophrenia in the rehabilitation period.This study takes a single case descriptive study in qualitative research method,trying to comb,analyze and explore the process of "case service for patients with schizophrenia in the period of rehabilitation".In order to answer two questions through research,first,how the schizophrenics in the rehabilitation period are trapped in the plight of community integration,where the negative labels on the subject of the transgression come from,how these false labels have affected the owner's life;Make it complete the community integration.Through in-depth interviews and observations of the case owner,important others,the environment,the study found that the subject's transgressive labels on the completion of community integration has a huge negative impact,these labels mainly include self-labeling,important others tag,public labels,the three sources of the label and their interaction caused the case to produce false self-awareness,In the family environment,the loss of power,low level of community participation,social function recovery difficulties,making it difficult to complete community integration.Social workers are guided by "tearing labels" to assist the case owner to tear down the label at the three levels of individual,family and community,one,at the individual level,focus on asking questions to help the case owner restore his objective understanding of himself;By providing them with new social roles,change the public image and restore their community networks.
