Stigma is the combined result of people who has stereotype on groups or himself which results cognitive biased, negative emotions and behavior reflection. Schizophrenia experienced stigma, which forced them suffering vary damages in almost all aspects. Then, where did stigma come from? How did it happen? What consequences did it do to the schizophrenia patients and their families? Despite the researchers did a lot of research on the stigma of schizophrenia, but there were few research was on the qualitative perspective to analyze the process of stigmatization of patients with schizophrenia and propose measures from social work is fewer. In this study, schizophrenic patients in one street Shanghai Sunshine Heart Park are the main objects, and through qualitative interviews to study and analyze the stigmatization. Meanwhile, family members, social workers and managers of the Sunshine Heart Park were the complementary interviews, which helped to study the status of the patients who had encountered stigma comprehensively and I expect to give some suggestions to dispel stigma in the view of social work.
