Since 2002,China's higher education has completed a revolutionary transition from the development of traditional elite education to popular quality education,and the improvement of college education quality has increasingly become the focus of people's attention.The evaluation policy of"promoting reform by evaluation,promoting construction by evaluation,combining evaluation and construction,and focusing on construction"promoted by the Ministry of Education aims to promote self-evaluation and reconstruction of colleges and universities under the dual supervision of society and the government.Thereby to promote higher education continues to develop and improve the quality of education in colleges and universities.After the accumulation of large amounts of data and the development of big data technology in recent years,analysis technology based on big data is playing an increasingly important role in dealing with practical problems.Since the beginning of the 21st century,China has begun to strengthen the accumulation of data in the education industry,especially in different types of universities,and has established a national data platform for higher education quality monitoring,in which the evaluation system of education quality has become an extremely important research direction[1].This research has explored the construction of evaluation system of university education quality based on the background of big data.First,through the analysis of relevant literature on the evaluation of higher education quality and the characteristics of college education in the context of big data,and drawing on the system idea of the balanced scorecard,a preliminary evaluation index system for university education quality in the context of big data is initially constructed.Through the Delphi method to screen the indicators,the paper improves the reliability and scientificity of the indicator system.Then,determining the weight of the indicators at all levels through the analytic hierarchy process,the research passes the consistency test.Meanwhile,taking a university in Yunnan Province as an example for an empirical study through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,the university's education quality is comprehensively evaluated,and the evaluation results are analyzed,problems are found,and improvement measures is put forward in a targeted manner.Finally,the research puts forward suggestions to improve the quality of university education from the aspects of clarifying the purpose of education quality evaluation,giving play to the role of university evaluation,focusing on the evaluation process,and using big data technology.
