Intervention Of The Health Security Service For The Empty-nest Elderly In Kochi In The University Community

China is rapidly marching into an aging society.The number of elderly people in empty nests will exceed half of the total aging population.Among them,the proportion of elderly people in empty nests in the college community Kochi is increasing year by year.They have rich education experience,good economic foundation and high social status,and their demands for physical health protection are generally extremely high.At present,there is limited research on Kochi empty nest elderly in college communities.The research on social worker intervention mainly focuses on their psychological needs,which is of course an important issue.From the perspective of social work,it is also of great significance to study how to intervene in the health protection of Kochi empty nest elderly in the college community and provide them with better services.The author is involved in the study of the health protection of the empty nest elderly in the college community of Kochi through case service.Through the needs assessment,it was found that the client's health protection needs had multiple levels.The author gave full play to the richness of college community resources and used professional link resources of social workers to solve the client's health protection needs at all levels.The service process is guided by the ecosystem theory,and analysis and intervention are carried out from the four system levels of the micro system,the intermediate system,the external system,and the macro system,which respectively link different resources.The micro level includes allowing the client to understand his physical condition more fully Eliminate negative views on empty nest elderly,tap client advantages,and strengthen mental training;intermediate systems include allowing clients to have daily college student volunteer help and designing nighttime caregiver accommodation programs;external systems include identifying family doctors and installing safety facilities Solve the inconvenience of going downstairs;the macro system is mainly to hold one-on-one health question and answer lectures,so that the client will collect health knowledge by himself.This paper attempts to analyze and summarize the process of individual case intervention in the health protection of elderly people in empty nests in colleges and universities,and proposes social worker intervention techniques from the perspective of ecosystem theory.Finally,it puts forward suggestions for social workers to provide health protection for elderly people in empty nests in university communities Because the result evaluation found that the effect of the case is obvious,it is of great significance for professional social workers to participate in the health protection of Kochi empty nest elderly in the college community.
