With the rapid development of the times,human beings have entered an era of knowledge explosion.The core competitiveness of a country is largely reflected in the competition of talents.In recent years,integrated STEAM education has gradually become an emerging curriculum and a new form of education,which has aroused widespread attention and influence all over the world and has become a hot issue in the field of education in various countries.Because STEAM education is not just simply learning the five disciplines of science,technology,engineering,arts and mathematics,but also hopes that students can comprehensively recognize and apply the relationship between these five interdisciplinary knowledge through learning to cultivate And improve students' comprehensive ability and literacy.Therefore,our country also takes it as one of the important strategies to cultivate new talents,so as to enhance the core competitiveness of the whole country.The practical research and development of STEAM education in China's education will be an inevitable trend.Based on a large number of reading and research on STEAM education concept,primary school science curriculum teaching and other literature,the author finds that STEAM education concept and primary school science curriculum concept in China have the same idea.Therefore,the author integrates the STEAM education concept into the primary school science teaching design,constructs the primary school science teaching design mode based on the STEAM education concept,and carries out the education experiment to study the feasibility of the primary school science teaching design mode based on the STEAM education concept.Based on this,this paper first studies the status quo of STEAM education and primary school science teaching domestic and overseas through the literature research method.And a pre-test survey of the current learning situation of primary school science lessons was conducted for the research object combined with questionnaires.So as to summarize the existing ability level and cognitive characteristics of students,as well as the existing shortcomings.On the basis of combining the ADDIE mode,the primary school science teaching design mode is constructed according to the five stages of analysis,design,development,implementation and evaluation.Then the model and the primary school science curriculum related content are integrated to design the "making sachet" as the theme of the STEAM curriculum activity program,which conforms to the cognitive characteristics of students.Secondly,apply it to the classroom for education experiments.Finally by the method of questionnaire investigation and interview to conduct post-test on students and interviews with teachers involved in the course,to summarize and analyze the teaching effect,so as to further verify the applicability of the primary school science teaching design mode based on the STEAM education concept.According to the results of the questionnaire and teacher interview can draw the conclusion,the application of the primary school science teaching design mode based on the STEAM education concept constructed in this paper can effectively improve students' classroom participation,promote students' mastery and application of scientific knowledge,cultivate and improve students' teamwork spirit,and enrich the teaching mode.Therefore,it is expected to provide a new research perspective for the development of STEAM education and science education in China,and lay a solid foundation for the cultivation of compound innovative talents in primary school.
