With the continuous development of the economy and society, the reality of low marriage rate and high divorce rate aggravates the fact of aging population and causes a series of social problems. With the continuous development of economy and society, the improvement of labor market and the improvement of human capital, the proportion of women in the labor market is gradually increasing, the income of women is beginning to increase, the differences between husband and wife in economic and social activities are gradually reducing, and the number of families whose wife's income exceeds that of husband is also increasing year by year.Under the collision of the concept of equality between men and women in the new era and the traditional Chinese concept, will the change of family power status caused by relative income deviate from the individual concept and affect the subj ective well-being.This study uses the data from the 2012 CGSS to reduce the dimensions of related variables through factor analysis and other methods. An in-depth analysis of Chinese marriages and families, from the perspective of family power status, analyzes the impact of changes in relative income of wives on subjective well-being,analyzes the regulating role of family power status on it,and attempts to explain their gender identity Mechanism. At the same time, the paper also examines the heterogeneity of the impact of relative income on subjective well-being from different sample types of household registration type, age, and education level. The following conclusions were reached. The empirical analysis results show that:first, the increase in relative income within the family has a significant negative impact on subjective well-being,and the negative impact on female happiness is higher than that of men;second, the higher the status of family power, the higher the relative income The greater the negative impact of subjective well-being;the third is that part of the negative impact of relative income on subjective well-being is affected by gender identity;and the fourth is that the difference in family power status caused by gender identity is The important reason that the relative income affects the subjective well-being degree in different sample groups is significant. The main innovation of this study is that after reviewing the literature,we can found that there are rich articles on the relative income of couples on subjective well-being,but in the existing literature, most of them are analyzed from the perspective of housework and not from the comprehensive perspective of family power status.Go research. Therefore, this study can enrich the research dimensions of marriage and family happiness to a certain extent.
